We implemented Informatica PowerCenter through an in-house team.

We have an automated solution to deploy things. We have to label objects and execute the process in the environment in which we want to deploy the solution. The solution does not require much maintenance. We have to upgrade the solution. Otherwise, we would run into a lot of security breaches.

The teams required for deployment depend upon the use cases and specific requirements. We need multiple vendor teams to complete the process if we have various sources and databases to work with.

To implement Informatica PowerCenter you need to understand your customer's systems first and what their requirements are. It is important to understand their existing system and find the data. By understanding their logic, you can know how to extract the data and transfer the data to the data warehouse.

The installation process is done by a third party.

We implemented it ourselves.

We did not need any help from a third party. We have teams that can install the solution in-house. 

Deployment took about a day, and we handled it ourselves. 

I was not involved in the deployment. Another team in our company was responsible for it.

My IT team was responsible for the deployment. Our team has approximately 12 people and they are responsible for installation and maintenance, including upgrades.

We had a boot-camp training and an Informatica expert onsite for a few months. Later, we picked up a fair amount of technology and started implementing it in-house.

The deployment was handled in-house. We did not need any installation help from integrators or consultants. 

We provide development, integration, operations, and maintenance services for Informatica solutions to the customers. We do ETL monitoring, and we monitor the daily loads and resolve and manage the pipeline features. 

We also handle the change requests coming from the customer and performance optimization. We may sometimes also look at the transformations optimization, caching, and all those things.

We did it in-house. 

Our internal technical team did the implementation and handles the maintenance of the solution. The maintenance team makes sure Informatica services are started and are up and running.

We hired somebody from Informatica to help us with the implementation. We have no complaints about their service.

I implemented it myself and with my team. We have expertise, so there was no need to engage Informatica Professional Services. 

We provide implementation services to customers. We are a consultant company, so we use it for our customers on the customer's side, but we don't have a business relationship with Informatica. 

Implementation for this solution was in-house. It was done by our own team.

We implemented this solution at the customer's site as consultants. 

We had a lot of assistance from Oracle and the implementation took less than a week.

Whenever we need to do an upgrade, we need to call a consultant to do it. It takes about a week for the preparation and all other stuff.

We used a vendor team, who were 4/10.

Usually, we have system administrators do the implementation.

For the implementation of Informatica PowerCenter, we used one or two developers and one person from the DBA team.

I implemented this solution by myself.
