The tool's most beneficial feature is its scalability. People with limited technical knowledge can quickly grasp its functions with a brief introduction. The tool's ease of use makes it a plug-and-play solution, reducing the effort required to train users on its usage.

We integrated one of the largest payment service providers using JBoss. Specifically, we integrated Visa, a well-known credit and debit card provider, into our system using JBoss. As the project's lead software engineer, I executed this integration.

The high availability is great. Implementing it is very easy. Sometimes we only have to copy the installation or the house installation and change some parameters inside the host. After that, we run the instance in the console manager, and from the console manager, we can create new servers. It's very easy to implement a high availability installation. For me, that is the most important feature.

The most valuable thing about JBoss is how easy it is to install and manage it on-premise, making the process simple. The application setup is neat and easy to follow. Although we used to manually check log files, integrating a monitoring tool later on improved efficiency. Overall, JBoss is user-friendly and adapts well to changing monitoring requirements.

Certain works are being done very well with JBoss due to its peer configuration. The various styles of services offered by JBoss are very useful for our company and other companies as it becomes difficult for businesses to afford too many services running on different computers. I have seen a few implementations where the JBoss application server is used. Initially, the applications were hosted on licensed servers like IBM WebSphere and BEA WebLogic. But, due to the license cost, we advised our client to shift to an open source application server. With open source, we had a choice of going with Apache Tomcat and JBoss. We chose JBoss as it's far more scalable, secure and comes with support from the vendor.

The server supports Windows as well as Linux OS, which is an added advantage. JBoss seems to be a well-rounded application server in the market which supports scalability and is easy to set-up and to deploy.

The solution is easy to use. 

If I use Red Hat JBoss and Red Hat web server, I can do more configuration. I use the AP server to control my webserver. I don't have to always log in to the webserver and change configuration or do all the changes. I can do all the configuration on the AP server, only using JBoss.

This open source Application server is a good choice for Enterprises using J2EE . This gives much better value than Websphere and Weblogic. Easy to setup and self contained software.
