The pricing for JumpCloud has changed in the past 18 months. Previously, there was a free option for up to 10 users, however, now every user has a cost. Despite the increase in cost, users find JumpCloud to be a good product that is easier to manage compared to other solutions like Active Directory.

JumpCloud's services and features are utilized to manage all users through a central account, granting access to various systems, applications, and services. It is used as a source of authentication and authorization, LDAP source, single sign-on, policy enforcement, execution of on-demand jobs, and zero-trust network access solution. JumpCloud is also used for identity management, device management, single sign-on (SSO), cloud directory, authentication radius, VPN radius, and network radius. 

It is used by small businesses as a cloud-based directory to replace on-premise Active Directory or other LDAP directories. 

JumpCloud is used to provide identity and access management services, access control, and importing users from directories like G Suite and Microsoft Azure. 

JumpCloud's customer service and support have consistently been excellent. Customers have praised the responsiveness and helpfulness of the support team. They have resolved issues quickly and provided clear explanations and instructions. Some customers have even had access to local support representatives who went above and beyond to provide assistance. 

The support team has been receptive to feedback and willing to collaborate. While there were some initial issues with technical support, it has improved over time. 

The initial setup for JumpCloud varies depending on the current system being used. For some, it is relatively straightforward, involving enrolling users and their machines and connecting the two. However, more complex deployments may require additional planning, especially when integrating with systems like Azure AD. 

The number of people needed for deployment depends on the number of end users, with some deployments being handled by a single person. The duration of the setup depends on factors such as the number and state of machines, requiring about half an hour per machine on average. 

JumpCloud is a SaaS product that does not require specific maintenance, as the agent updates itself and keeps everything up to date. 

The solution of JumpCloud is highly scalable and suitable for small, medium, and large companies. It is easy to enroll more machines and users, and the billing is done monthly based on the number of users. 

Users mention working with smaller companies with around 28-300 users and even having experience with over 100 users. The solution can easily handle scaling up to hundreds or even thousands of users without any issues. The scalability of JumpCloud is praised for its seamless operation and compatibility with cloud infrastructure.

Users generally find the stability of JumpCloud to be reliable and solid. Outages have occurred, but they are infrequent and do not usually last for an extended period of time. Some users rate the stability as eight or nine out of ten. The solution has been highly stable for some users, with 100 percent availability and robust disaster recovery mechanisms in place. 

Others have experienced no downtime and consider the solution to be 100% reliable. While there have been some infrastructure challenges, the stability has improved over time.
