We completed the deployment in-house. Sometimes we get a third party to purchase a unit for us if we can't purchase direct from Juniper. 

For the first two switches, we used the reseller from whom we bought the switches. Someone from their company came in and installed the first two switches. After that, we looked at his configs and figured out how to do it, and since then, we did it on our own. Our experience with the reseller was good.

Maintenance is handled by two of us in my department, but we do so many other things. We are Network Admins. 

In our environment, we do not need support from any vendor, any principal. If we are stuck somewhere, then we will definitely contact or open a case with the principal. All the things will be managed by our engineers and ourselves.

The product's deployment phase was done with the help of a third party.

We don't require a specialist to assist us in configuration. We take help from our in-house tool for managing provisions and troubleshooting.

I was on-site for the deployments, but we had a consultant come in and do it for us.

The partner completed the deployment in one day for about 13 switches, making it very simple.

After the configuration, the partner brought his technicians to mount the switches.

The size of the team needed for the installation depends on the environment. However, we have approximately 10 certified engineers, which can do both, the installations and support of the solution. Additionally, we have architects, junior and senior consultants, and depending on the job we have to do, we can supply different types of engineers.

We used an integrator for Juniper Ethernet Switches.

Most of the time, I do the deployments by myself. But when I have some problems, we have a team that can help out. I might ask them, or I might use the knowledgebases on the internet or search on Google to find solutions. Most of the time there are good, long articles on Juniper's site or in one of the forums that can help me to resolve any issues. There is a lot of knowledge that is readily available. Juniper takes care to publish many good articles. 95% of the time, it is not really hard to solve a problem. If I just go and do a little searching, I can find the information I need to resolve any problem.  

We implemented it with an in-house team. We have a very big network, there were roughly around 80, 85 switches and firewall and core switches. In total, implementation took somewhere between six to eight weeks.

Our in-house teams implemented the switches. Implementation takes a couple of hours because these are state of the art switches. We use the carrier-grade switches as we are a public operation and provide backbone connectivity to the whole country. So, deployment is not trivial in our case. It takes some time to meticulously plan and install these switches.

We don't need outside assistance when it comes to implementations. I can handle setups myself. I did that last one two years ago.

We did not implement this solution through a vendor, we had one of the team members do it. It wasn't that difficult.

There are five engineers who were involved in the deployment.
