KNIME Pricing
The laptop version has an initial software fee. Scaling to the on-premises version requires a licensing fee per user that is a bit expensive in comparison to R, Python, and SAS.

The price for the cloud version is very reasonable compared to other products at the same scale. If you expand to the same scale, KNIME could be a more cost-effective option.

With KNIME, you can use the desktop version free of charge as much as you like. I've yet to hit its limits. If I did, I'd have to go to the server version, and for that you have to pay. Fortunately, I don't have to at the moment.
View full review »There is no cost for using KNIME because it is an open-source solution, but you have to pay if you need a server.

We're using the free academic license just locally. I went for KNIME because they have a free academic license. And to be honest, I never bothered to check the prices.

For beginners, the free desktop version is very attractive, but the full server version can be more expensive. I have only used the free version and it offers a fair pricing system. I have been promoting it to others without any compensation or request from the company, simply because I am enthusiastic about it. I am not aware of the pricing for the server version, but it seems to be widely used.

KNIME is free as a stand-alone desktop-based platform but if you want to get a KNIME server then you can find the cost on their website. The fact that KNIME is open source may create challenges from an IT security view in an enterprise environment.

KNIME assets are stand alone, as the solution is open source. I have not looked into their enterprise level application costs. While cost is a parameter, I would definitely consider other options which provide value for one's money.

One of the benefit for KNIME is free for desktop version, which is enough for small team work. It is worthy to try but prepare for times to search and learn. It is not really as easy as drag and drop.
View full review »KNIME is open sourced platform and has a free desktop version with unlimited data size and functionality.
Also, the server version is good for teams and enterprise productivity. Especially the new "Model Factory", which lets data science teams easily build and manage models. When compared with similar products, it is less expensive but as powerful as (or maybe more powerful than) others.

KNIME could be cheaper, but it's okay compared to other solutions. Our projects are primarily within India, and it is extremely price-sensitive here. If we were doing projects in the UK or the US, it probably wouldn't matter.

The solution is open-source and therefore cheap to use. Anyone can access it. They can just download it off the internet and start. Alteryx is way too expensive. In terms of pricing, it's always better to go with KNIME.
