Tungsten TotalAgility Pricing

The greater the number of licenses reduces the cost per unit. The licensing cost will depend on the use case and elements such as classification and extraction of documents, scanning and processing. A calculation is made depending on the number of users. For 10,000 concurrent users in a basic setup, the cost was six cents per page.

I am not sure what the exact price of the Kofax is, but it is on the higher end.

It is slightly more expensive than other tools.

The license is not based on users; it is on volume. A yearly license is not required. However, you will have limited pages per volume per year. You have, for example, a license that allows you to use one million pages in a year, and if you exhaust all those one million pages, you will need to obtain and purchase an additional top-up on the license.

The price depends on how your relationship is with Kofax. Sometimes you get a discount. However, I’m not aware of what a standard price is.

There are different sets of licenses available. There are concurrent user licenses. There are different options. However, I'm not involved much on this sales side. I'm more involved in the implementation of the solution.

It is a bit expensive. However, it is worth the money since it can be used for multiple processes. For example, a company can use the RPA capabilities and the integration with their core system, and if they use invoice processing, with invoice processing, they can use any other documents processing. The cost will be worth it, however, if an organization just goes with invoice processing, it may not be worth it.

The licensing cost is competitive. There is the initial cost and contract so it depends on the agreement you reach with the vendor. Licensing is on a per-page basis. Other products have licensing based on the CPUs, so if you're adding power, then you'll have to think about purchasing more licenses.

Everything is included under the license.

It's a bit expensive. We were using TotalAgility at one of South Africa's biggest banks, and we had to use a tool or an application that is a Kofax competitor, and their license was a bit cheaper. The manager there said that the Kofax licenses are expensive compared to the competitor. However, we do see the quality it brings. We prefer to pay more for Kofax as we see its value.

It has a perpetual license. You pay once in a lifetime for the volume of scans you will do and the number of users you will have. You can have participants or regular users, and you can have developers and administrators. So, once you purchase it, it is for a lifetime, and then every year, you have to pay for the maintenance. There is an annual maintenance cost, which is about 18% of the licensing cost.

I don't have figures on the costs associated with Kofax TotalAgility because that's handled by the Document team. I just tell the team that I need this volume for this number of users, and the Document team will handle it.
