What do you think of Oracle HCM Cloud?

Oracle Cloud Applications Release 12 included many new areas of functionality.  One in particular has had a major impact (positive) on those of us who implemented the product for our customers. This feature is called the  "Security Console". Since the earliest releases of Oracle Cloud, the security has been managed by the Fusion Middleware products Oracle Identity Manager (OIM) and Oracle Authorization Policy Manager (APM).  Whilst extremely powerful tools for managing user accounts and role based access, the tools required a level of knowledge beyond standard application configuration.  They were also displayed through a separate UI to the main applications and configuration of security rules involved using multiple screens and UIs. What do you think of Oracle E-Business Suite?

Primary Use Case EBS r12.2. can be used in energy industry to implement Purchasing,HR,Finance modules in it. • Improvements to My Organization It was complex to follow HR processes, such as leave application, approvals, and job applications. Now, they are integrated and managed from only one screen. • Valuable Features Online patching, which lets administrators apply patches on the fly and with minimum downtime to make it active. • Room for Improvement Deployment of customization is complex, thus nobody is using it. Instead, we are deploying the same code on both filesystems (fs1, fs2). What is most valuable?

The most valuable feature of PeopleSoft Procurement is the completely end-to-end integration of the procurement process. From the time you set up the master data information and set up the contracts, you are able to create transactions.

How has it helped my organization?

* Visibility on spend. Spend is one of the big factors; it's your bottom line. * A lot of compliance; all the audit information, like when you do the transactions.

What needs improvement?

There should be more analytics, monitoring analytics, and also machine learning should be incorporated into the core product. Right now, machine learning is outside of the ERP domain; bring machine learning into the domain.

What is most valuable?

Potential integration via cloud connect is the biggest valuable feature, but Streamline has not been as successful as GlobalView in this area. I also think that the ability to aggregate and manage many payrolls from one location with a common... more»

How has it helped my organization?

The product allows you to create and manage shared services centrally even in small countries. It has helped to consolidate processes regardless of the fact that you have different payroll systems.

What needs improvement?

Integration could be improved. You would hope that the cloud connect would work equally as well for GlobalView and Streamline. Also, project management is currently only specific to the country and not specific to ADP culture and process.
