The user behavioral analysis feature is great.

It patches the operating system which is running on it until there is an available patch for the operating system itself.

The solution includes a good combination of features for both signature and signature-less detection. Based on types of threats, we can opt to use either or a combination of both. 

The endpoint security, antivirus and firewall are the most valuable features of Trellix Endpoint Security.

The most valuable feature of Trellix Endpoint Security is containment, which takes less than a minute. It also has a dual containment feature. Trellix Endpoint Security is also useful for taking the triage image, which takes roughly thirty minutes. So it's pretty fast, and we have multiple configuration sets. We can precisely take a triage image based on what you want, like endpoint logs, antivirus logs, or the RAM.

Trellix Endpoint Security offers robust access protection, addressing major concerns in prevention. It provides both application control and user access control within its access protection features.

The product is fairly reliable. I have been using the DLP functionality a lot. It blocks all USB-connected devices but still allows charging external devices like phones. It keeps out any malware. It does a good job of protecting our network as an enterprise solution. I mainly use it as an antivirus and DLP solution.

I like trap prevention DNS and threat prevention.

Trellix Endpoint Security provides a single umbrella kind of architecture. A lot of different solutions come under a single umbrella and a single console. The most valuable features of the solution include DLP (data loss prevention), CASB (cloud access security broker) functionality, endpoint encryption, and cloud workload security. The solution also has features like application control, device control, and cloud DLP.

It has a great console. We can manage everything from the central console and it is very easy. Every year we are getting the benefits of legacy also.

It's easy to set up.

The solution is pretty good for threat prevention, web protection, adaptive threat protection, and other tasks.

The solution is very stable.

We have had a good experience dealing with technical support.

The product is quite user-friendly.

From the McAfee side, I really like the ePolicy Orchestrator software that allows us to manage all of our endpoints. You can create the deployment policies and whenever there is a new update — a new version of the ENS Agent, or threat protection — we could test it out in the evaluation branch, and even test it on some of our servers.

It's quite easy to manage. Quite intuitive. I would say the dashboard of ePolicy Orchestrator software is quite intuitive and quite easy to understand and manage. 

Trellix Security Endpoint can promptly isolate any host machines directly from the console. If alerts are received and isolation is necessary, it can be accomplished through the console. The console itself holds significant value, accessible through a browser and allowing remote actions via cloud login.              

A single agent can cover multiple units.

The installation is pretty straightforward. 

The solution can integrate into other products.

One of the standout features of this solution is its encryption capabilities and DLP functionality. It provides a robust defense against cybersecurity threats while offering user-friendly features like notifications and approval prompts. The encryption feature provides peace of mind in the event of a lost or stolen device, safeguarding sensitive conversations and data from unauthorized access. This level of protection significantly reduces the risk of extortion attempts or data breaches, making it a valuable asset for any organization. So far, I haven't experienced any security breaches or attacks.

There is a new feature where you can set thresholds for all the CPU consumption allowing for no consumption on the servers when the scans happen. It is a separate plugin or addon, and if we have it on all the virtual machines it automatically checks the resources, and based on that, it will schedule the scans. That is something that I have not seen in other antivirus solutions, such as Symantec.

Some of McAfee Endpoint Security's main features are it has benefits over normal conventional antivirus solutions because it works much faster. 

The solution learns which piece of software is running on the computer and compares it to a white list or black list database, if it is on the white list it allows the application and if it is on the black it does not.

McAfee Endpoint Security uses fewer computer resources than many competitors making it less of a burden on the performance of the computer. 

The solution is stable.

You can scale the product.

Overall it's a good product that works well. 

Technical support is always available and very helpful.

The antivirus component is very good.

We really like the dashboard from Trellix and we've found that it's pretty informative. Also, the reporting is pretty much immediate, so if there's any activity on the network, you're able to get notifications immediately. That's something that we really like about this product.

The product has robust integration with ePO (ePolicy Orchestrator), offering centralized management capabilities. It also allows multifunctionality within a single platform. They offer endpoint and NLP protection as well.

The product works in the background. It does not slow down the computer, which is good. If we put the USB, it automatically asks us whether the device must be scanned. We can scan it or postpone it. If anything goes wrong, the tool informs us that a file or website was blocked. It might be because the IP is on a blacklist. The product is simple. We do not have to do anything. The product is easy to use.

McAfee Endpoint Security does not hang the machines. They are also not very heavy on the end-users.

The most valuable feature of the solution is that it allows our company to opt for single management for multiple products. The tool also supports DLP encryption or proxy can be managed by a single management console, which is a major advantage.

The central management console is powerful. You can manage endpoints, DLP, encryption, and all the other features from a single console. 

The solution is broken down into different components from the portals. Web filtering, which is an added feature has been great for us. Other than that, we also make use of other products under McAfee, so it was DLP, HIPS, as well. Rogue Detection is more for detecting and managing systems on our network. That worked very well for us. From an interface point of view, it's really simple and straightforward.

Trellix Endpoint Security's dashboard is very flexible, and I can create my own user-specific dashboard depending on user privilege or preference.

It can be deployed quickly, and it's scalable. Those are the two advantages of it.

I have found DLP to be a valuable feature.

Threat prevention is valuable because most clients use other solutions like antivirus as part of web protection. I don't find that kind of solution useful. We use the firewall to protect the client's network or even blocks and some kind of traffic that the computer received. The ATP model, I think, is one of the most important features because it can protect the computer when an application doesn't work as expected. It will alert and send messages to the ePO, and we can see everything.

The manageability of the product itself is its most valuable aspect. You have the underlying EPO, and on top of it, you can deploy the various components as you require. This is unlike other solutions like Symantec where you have to deploy everything or nothing. With this solution, you can choose to only deploy antivirus or only deploy a firewall, or only something else. I choose the components and that deployment is done through EPO. It makes manageability very flexible.

The most valuable feature is the centralized console where everything can be controlled by the administration. McAfee is always improving and is coming out with advanced cloud strategies, you can always rely on them now and for many years ahead.

The remote installation capabilities are very helpful for us. Its automatic installation is a good feature.

The malware detection is very good. 

The features, for the most part, are reliable. When installed as endpoint security, ransomware detected on any endpoint will be automatically quarantined there. It's then disconnected from the network and users are able to clean up that particular wireless area.

The initial setup isn't too difficult.

The solution scales well.

The solution offers good patches pretty regularly.

We like the web control and firewall.

The solution is pretty stable and reliable.

The product is very flexible.

It's easy to use.

There is scalability available. 

The most valuable features are:  

- reporting facility using the ePO console for conformity and threat identification  

- using the advanced threat protection (ATP) 

- MNE module for customising and securing Windows Bitlocker.

I personally really like what the folks at Intel did when creating the Endpoint Protection Suites. Running the EASI.exe installer from the .zip file simplifies the build process for newer administrators and engineers by installing a base-system tree, basic policies, and streamlining the installation process. 

What most don't seem to grasp is that Endpoint Protection is a Suite Install Package. There are 6 different versions of Endpoint Protection, each coming with different applications installed. Primarily, I usually install the Endpoint Protection Advanced Suite (EPA) & Complete Endpoint Protection Suite (CEE). I recommend installing SQL either on the same box as ePO if you're managing under 5000 endpoints, or on a separate SQL server if higher, overusing the SQL Express that comes with the Installer. The primary reason is that if you use SQL Express, you do not have access to SQL Management Studio. Having access to the data tables and being able to clean up the space on the SQL server over time will be a must. The Complete Endpoint Suite has certainly simplified the build procedure.

We've found the pricing to be pretty good. It's not too expensive.

The most valuable feature that I've found most useful is the availability of seamless AES 256 full-disk encryption.

The solution provides dashboard control, so we can centrally monitor the entire status of our organization. This is very good.

The ability to check a wide range of vulnerabilities and devices is a very valuable feature in this product. This is not really a user interface or manually driven product. VirusScan gives an alert to the user that a scan should be performed on their device and the user has to click it to initiate the scan. Then McAfee scans the device and it gives a report saying that it has run a scan of the system and now everything is fine. It runs for the user rather than manual scanning.

It is of primary importance that the solution does not cripple my system. When an endpoint is sitting on one's computer a struggle ensues involving resources, since the endpoint is actually scanning. At present, it either does not do so or is not noticeable. The detection rate is very high and one can be certain that he is not getting false positives, since he can see if the policy is properly configured. 

The detection is great and the solution is constantly improving. 

A big advantage of McAfee Endpoint Security is the ability to manage very big environments. We are supporting environments with 200,000 to 300,000 endpoints. The ability to manage with one single console is very important for us.

McAfee has phenomenally improved in terms of detection. It provides real-time detection and response with the error, Real Protect, and reputations. It is not only based on signatures but also on behavior analytics, artificial intelligence, or machine learning. We have environments that never had issues with ransomware in the last 20 years. McAfee has a very good performance in this field.

The most valuable features are the adaptive tech on McAfee.

As of July 2016 we updated our version of Endpoint encryption from V5.03 to V7.03 with an updated deployment console it is much more convenient to navigate and to recover the user \ machine password process is so less cumbersome ..

The easy accessibility of managing all the agents through a central server and the customizability of the management interface are the most valuable features for us from our experience with it so far.

The package of protection that it provides is useful. It has antivirus, malware protection, VPN, and a whole bunch of other features.

It is just there in the background and does its job. Every once in a while, it reminds me that it is doing its job.

In terms of features, its internet exchange is also perfect. I mostly like the powerful management tools. It's got a lot of detail, so it's powerful.

I find the endpoint management feature the most valuable. I like the exploit blocking, the anti-exploit.

There can be like a religious war between the large antivirus systems, but I do think that all of the larger competitors deliver good antivirus solutions.

The thing that separates them is:
- The way they are managed.
- The way they adapt to new threats.
- The products around the product that give you a higher value.

What I like best is the integrated end-to-end security that works with the security information and events manager. It's a complete suite.

McAfee Endpoint Protection is a a good product that's easy to administer. It provides endpoint protection for desktops, laptops, and servers, and the protection includes anti-virus, anti-malware, anti-spam, DLP, and encryption.

The most valuable feature for us is the central management – we can scale it up and dial back when we need to. It gives us a big picture, enterprise solution for our endpoint needs. We don’t have to go to three interfaces for the security picture as it's all in one shared space.

The primary reason the solution is good is because of its ease-of-use. It is easy to handle and create policies. 

McAfee Endpoint Security is easy to use, and it integrates well.

The performance is good.

The endpoint protection and disk encryption features are the most valuable.

There are three valuable components to Endpoint Security 10.1: First, there's threat prevention, which is for anti-virus and anti-malware detection. Second, there's firewall, which replaces the Windows firewall when activated. Third, there's web control which is used for endpoint web filtering.

The threat prevention feature is the most valuable because it provides protection against malware.

McAfee EndPoint Security has a lot of good features that work well if they are implemented properly.

Firstly, the Real-Time Protect and the dynamic application containment, are two great features out there. The endpoint features are also good. The new version is quite good as compared to the older version and interface. It's a replica of the VAC. It's good.

I think the prime feature is the protection from malware.

One valuable feature is Threat Prevention with the on-demand scan. After the policy configuration is made, all our end users were happy that the computer didn’t feel slow when scanning files as the scanner just runs when the users are idle.

I can say that all the features of this product are most valuable for me, but I believe that Antivirus, McAfee Data Loss Prevention Endpoint, McAfee Device Control , Drive Encryption and Deep Command are the basic features that any business needs (Enterprise, Small or Medium).

The desktop firewall is a great product. It can be set to allow only authorized applications to communicate with the internet. In this way, it can block the changes for an unknown application to access our command and control server and to receive encryption keys. It is very good at preventing crypto-malware.

Their drive encryption is perfect.

You can create a complete inventory of all available executable files on the machine and whitelist the ones that you want, then lock the machine so that nothing else can be executed.

The web filtering is quite good at the endpoint level.

The threat intelligence exchange product is great because at the moment malware is detected on one device or other devices and endpoints, our servers are informed about the threats and they will be automatically recognized.

The solution has a ton of products and great features.

ePO can now be integrated with products from other vendors such as BeyondTrust, Boldon James, Titus, and you can even control Microsoft BitLocker. The architecture is easily extended and upgraded.

The feature I like the most in McAfee Endpoint Protection is when I get reports of unmanaged devices. These are kind of issues that alert me to address a problem. 

I need to find out how we can eliminate these devices which are connected to our network and not managed by McAfee.

From an IT management point-of-view, the most valuable features are the force of the ePO console and its simplicity. For security, the most valuable feature is that it offers clear security dashboards and reporting.

I have found the most valuable features to be the ability to manage the solution from anywhere and having an overview of the companies security. I can see which computers are patched, which computers are updated, and which ones might have possible infections or problems. Additionally, The solution is always up to date because there are updates frequently. Recently, MVISION was added and it is a new feature that has some advanced security qualities.

The loss prevention feature would be the most valuable. This is a good feature but don't use it because of the complexity. 

The solution has some good firewall features, as well as those involving control and threat protection of the host. 

We like the management of the ePO, and we like the management console.

The reporting capabilities are a valuable feature. This enables more visibility on our network.

The centralized management of the solution is valuable since we are a diverse organization.

My experience with McAfee is very good. They give excellent support, they are proactive to solve issues, and willing to integrate their products. Their ability to execute is very high.

Their malware detection rate is excellent for all type of devices and the anti-theft products are good and easy to use.

All the devices are controlled from one place. This gives great, easy management of security for different device vendors with a unique interface and, best of all, with a unique method.

Valuable features for us include the quality of their anti-malware detection: one interface for all devices. McAfee GW Security is also good.

In general, all the branches were very happy with them for three reasons:

• The product is good
• The product is well known
• Their marketing support is excellent

You can integrate this endpoint protection with a specific business process that you may want to link to the process of the antivirus. It has the capability to custom define user-defined fields. 

The DLP and user interface are the most valuable feature.

I would have said the VirusScan, but with the advent of ransomware, the VirusScan hasn’t been that impressive.

The central management feature of the ePolicy Orchestrator was extremely valuable to me. My organization had a very small security team, so the ability to manage our protection tools from one program made the job much more efficient.  Additionally, central management made it much easier to create executive reports for management review. 

There is not one feature in particular that is more valuable than another for us. It is generally a valuable tool that helps us with our security.

The thing that I like is that they have gathered almost all of the products in one management server, the ePolicy Orchestrator. Although, it is quite complicated to learn it and to feel comfortable with the environment, you have the flexibility to administer all of the programs from one console.

Regarding the DLP product, there are many flavors.

Also, I haven't seen any data leakage through the endpoint.

McAfee offers an integrated solution, and it covers almost all the possibilities of data loss.

The most valuable feature of McAfee Endpoint Security is that it is stable. It is a good product.
