It's not an issue if you need to scale. It's not a problem at all. 

One of my clients has approximately 150 users using McAfee Total Protection for Data Loss Prevention.

It's scalable. We have about 500 users, and we don't have any problem with that. I think for a bigger scale, it works very well.

More than 10,000 users were using the solution in our organization.

I rate McAfee Total Protection for Data Loss Prevention a seven out of ten for scalability.

I only use McAfee Total Protection at home, so I am unable to comment on its scalability.

McAfee Total Protection for Data Loss Prevention is a scalability solution. The maximum number of users is approximately 1,000. Overall, the solution is scalable.

I rate the scalability of McAfee Total Protection for Data Loss Prevention a ten out of ten.

The solution is scalable.

The scalability is quite good. I would rate it nine out of ten in terms of ease of setup.  It really does its job with 100% satisfaction. I can rate nine out of ten, even though there are some glitches.

We have about 400 or more users on the solution. 

We plan to increase usage only if we increase members with the hiring cycle. 

I'm not sure about the scalability. I only use it for personal devices and have never attempted to expand it.

I'm using the solution myself. No one else uses it. 

In our experience, the product is easy to scale both on server and desktop visualization.  

The number of clients we have using McAfee Total Protection for data within our company and within our client deployments is hard to say in total. We have lots of clients in various territories. We work in five countries in the Middle East. So I don't know the exact number of users, but I know there are more than 1,000 SMBs, or small to medium businesses, that we have deployed for.  

The users at each site are IT Managers, IT Admin, Security Admins or some type of IT expert for the administration.  

The solution is scalable and most of our company's clients who use it are enterprise businesses. I would rate it an eight out of ten.

Scalability is not really applicable because it is only dealing with an endpoint device. There is no impact on scalability.

The product is scalable.

If you know what you are doing, it's scalable. That said, if you use the interface and you are not a qualified person for that, it gets complicated.

The solution is scalable, but you need to plan ahead and identify your scope very well, including the asset management and asset values. Without that, DLP won't work properly. 

It is a scalable solution. We have two customers who are using it and one who will be moving onto another solution. They are considering Cynet or CrowStrike.

Scalability-wise, I rate the solution an eight to eight and a half out of ten.

I'm not happy with the solution's ability to scale. If you have multiple files, the problem is McAfee also has multiple files, and, when the user is in working mode, suddenly the solution will start scanning without first asking the users and without showing the amount of time it will take. Suddenly your CPU and RAM take a dive. It affects everything. It might be a bug when you upgrade the solution. It's possible that it's not upgrading correctly or not connecting appropriately.

In terms of scalability, it would really go back to the deployment with the same type of concerns. Where scalability in a homogeneous environment is relatively simple, but in a heterogeneous environment is vastly more complex and challenging.

We have about 2,000 users in one environment. In another environment, we may have as many as 3,000 users. The solution scales pretty well.

While we typically implement this solution for our customers, I would say that we would like to increase usage.
