We are now evaluating Cisco Email Security, which is better than Microsoft. Google is also there, which can save you some money, but I personally don't like Google's Gmail for business.

We have evaluated Linux-based products before. But eventually, we went with Microsoft 365 Business.

We did not evaluate other options because we have an Exchange server and thought it would be best to use a Microsoft platform.

Microsoft Exchange is very good, and people are used to it. Gmail will be a big competitor for Microsoft later on when Gmail moves out of the comfort zone they are currently in. 

Gmail lags a lot as compared to Microsoft Office 365, which is very neat, clean, and easy to deploy. Any admin with one year or six months of experience can easily deploy Microsoft Office 365.

We did not evaluate other options before choosing Microsoft.

We considered Google but almost all of our customers are Microsoft shops.

I wanted to stick with the best and only evaluated all the different price plan options. For my size and stage of business the standard option offered everything I needed, plus some.

I've taken a look at Google Suite, which is very similar to Office 365. While Microsoft is a paid product, Google does offer some of its services for free, therefore, it might make for a good option for a startup, for example. Microsoft Office is a better product and it integrates more completely with companies that use a lot of Microsoft within their business. Google doesn't integrate.

I did not look at other options before choosing this product. 

The Microsoft Office 365 suite is a pretty nice product. It is working fine, no real complaints. It is a sophisticated product. You have to explore on YouTube how to use some tricks and tips to work with it more efficiently.  

I'm not sure if our organization looked at any other options before choosing this solution. I'm not a part of that decision-making process.

We evaluated using Google Docs but we are Microsoft users, and for that reason, we decided to continue with their tools.
