Previously, my company did not use a unified communication tool. For unified communication, my company started to use Microsoft 365 Business. My company used to use technology like Slack for team collaboration. My company used to use local products to manage emails. My company had a totally different license for Office 365. Microsoft 365 Business was chosen by our company as a solution to combine everything. My company does not use a similar technology, like Microsoft 365 Business. In general, my company improved by moving away from disintegrated technologies, and now we are able to integrate different technologies using Microsoft 365 Business.

We moved to this solution because running Exchange Server on-prem is more expensive than moving to the cloud. We don't need to bother about backup, storage, or other things. In on-prem, you have limited storage, and you need to have a team of at least 15 people maintaining Exchange Server for backup, AD, and other things.

We have used Google Workspace for work, which includes Google Slides, Google Gmail, Google Docs, and Google Sheets. It is easier to use than Microsoft 365 Business.

I only have experience with Microsoft 365 Business.

I have used G Suite and some third-party-hosted applications.

We also provide Hyper-V. We offer the operating system of Microsoft and bundle it when we offer servers for our customers.

I use solutions other than Microsoft 365 Business. I also use SQL, the Windows Server Operating System, and the CALs. I find that CALs is a bit more complicated but because there is a lot of support available, I am able to figure it out. When I ask for clarification and the correct sizing, they provide me with that.

More of us should be more aware of the usage of CALs and how it really works with the operating system.

We previously used Google but moved to Microsoft.

We have Google. Google is good, but I was not familiar with the application and the tasks because most of the time I have worked with Microsoft. They have the same features, but I didn't find that Google was easy to work with applications.

They have evolved a lot but there are still some laps between them like an on-premises exchange and Lotus Notes.

I previously used Gmail.

We have always used Microsoft 365 Business and never opted for any other solution.

We have previously used a cloud storage solution called Egnyte.

In my current organization, we were using an open-source free product Zimbra. Of course, an initial amount was paid for the licensing part. Because it was open-source, there were a lot of spams, and there was no protection for the email. Finally, a word was put across to my colleagues who were evaluating different products, and I said that Office 365 is the best one to go for. I was given the opportunity to evaluate, and it came into existence.

When I started out at the company I work for we were previously using an email solution called Lotus Notes.

The company is quite new. Before I was working at a bigger company which was completely different. However, when we started this new business, we decided to make it as simple as possible for us. That's why we decided to move to the cloud completely.

We also use Zoho for the cloud, for all our accounting, and invoicing, and so on. There is no Microsoft offering for that. It's completely separate. There is no link between them.

For students, we have been using Google Suite, but they are no match with Microsoft. So, we are moving out. A limitation of Google is that it is not present at every location. They were able to deploy it for India and Kenya, but for Mozambique, after trying for six months, they refused. They asked for a lot of information, and we gave them all the information. They kept us waiting for six months, and then they came back and said, "No, sorry, we can't provide." That was very disheartening.

In terms of support, Google is no match with Microsoft. Google probably doesn't provide support.

Previously, we used G-Suite, Google, and Gmail but we find that Microsoft is better.

We have been using only Microsoft products. We were earlier using the other version of Office.

I use Google Docs sometimes.

I've used G Suite before as well. However, I'm a Microsoft guy. I'm 65, so I've used Microsoft all my life. G Suite is extremely good, however, as I see it, I'm not comfortable with it. I see the younger people getting faster with it.

Our cloud solution was with Microsoft.

I used Lotus from IBM in the past and it was terrible. I decided to find a new solution without Lotus. It was very hard to work with Lotus and other IBM product. Additionally, I have used Google products too.

I've used Google in business as well, and I like the ability of being able to collaborate that they offer, but Microsoft 365 actually fixed that and you are now able to collaborate in the documents e.g. Word and Excel. So I really didn't see the need to stick with Google. The only thing that Microsoft wasn't able to deliver for me was photo and video organization/editing. Even if you're not a photographic business, you do still take photos and videos for your business. I do still use Google for all my photos and images.

We did not previously work with anything similar. 

We have used some Google applications and other conferencing platforms, such as Skype.

We have been using Microsoft solutions for a long time. In the beginning, we used Office 123 and WordPerfect in our company.

I do not recall if we used a different solution prior to Microsoft 365 Business. 

We have always used Microsoft. We did not use a different solution. We likely used an earlier version of Microsoft.

Prior to using the solution, we made use of Microsoft Exchange's on-premises version. We use Office 365, which is basically the cloud-based version of Microsoft Exchange.

We didn't previously use a different solution. We've always used Microsoft.

I have always used Microsoft. I have set up the normal Microsoft Office versions that you can install, such as 2013, and 2016.

Primarily I use two systems, Windows and Linux, but for office administration purposes, Office is the leading solution provider. Linux is mostly for deep development and server setups.

We used the traditional desktop version but decided to change to the Microsoft 365 Business version since it offers the opportunity to work online and share the information efficiently, which is much more useful.

We also are a Microsoft partner. We started with Microsoft 365 first. We didn't use Gmail or any other solutions for security reasons. We've been using Microsoft 365 since the beginning.

I am familiar with OpenOffice, but it has compatibility issues with files. We prefer Microsoft Office products

We are also using Google Suite. Microsoft 365 has a price attached, whereas Google Suite is free for educational institutions. Microsoft 365 has got popular applications like Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, whereas Google Suite has got similar products that do the same thing, but they are not very popular.

Previously, I was using Microsoft on a version from 2016. So it really is not a complete switch of products as it is still the Microsoft solution. It is just a newer version.  

Previously, we used Google Workspace but switched to Microsoft 365 Business because our users were more comfortable with the program.

Before Office 365, we used Microsoft products for a very long time. There's no problem with anything. From the old Office applications to 365, we have had Microsoft in our business for a very long time already.

Previously, we were using Gmail Business Suite, and because of my previous history with Microsoft, we changed.

We had an open-source mailbox. We are primarily looking at Exchange, but because we have a small IT team, we wanted something that can be easily managed. We came across Microsoft 365. Because it is on the cloud, it takes away the management headache.

We did use a different solution, however, we were in the market for something new in 2016, and that's when we made the switch. Microsoft came and did a pretty good sales pitch. They sold us on their product. We clearly saw the cost-benefit of the product and we switched over.

Before using Microsoft 365 Business, we used the Windows suite, the Office 2016 suite.

While we didn't previously use a different solution, we are actively using Google products currently. We use a lot of Google Docs and Google Sheets.

We have tried different online products for office tools, but nothing matches the quality of Office 365.
