What do I think about the scalability of the solution?

It's a scalable solution. We have over 65,000 users at the moment.

How was the initial setup?

The initial setup and deployment are easy.

What about the implementation team?

Nobody will implement this solution for you, whether you're a company or not. If you get a laptop, it's pre-installed. But if you do it from your home, doing your own DIYs, and you have mobile phones, your home laptops, and you need to install it on your own, you can do it. It's easy if you're familiar with Microsoft products.

What other advice do I have?

I would recommend this solution to potential users.

On a scale from one to ten, I would give Microsoft 365 Business an eight.

Good ability to handle large files, a lot of online information, and useful Teams application for conferencing and messaging
Pros and Cons
  • "The most important feature of Microsoft 360 Business is Teams. We use it for our conference calls and messaging. Microsoft Teams reduces the number of emails that I have to send or receive. Microsoft 365 Business has been incredibly useful during this period because of the integration of Teams with Outlook and the ability to store and handle files of large dimensions."
  • "There are some security issues with the platform, and its security should be improved. We have to re-enter the username and password sometimes, which is quite boring for us. The usability of Outlook can be improved. Currently, it is a little bit limited and old-fashioned. They should think about the concept of dealing with emails in Teams. Teams and Outlook together will make it a complete platform. The Teams application is not user-friendly on mobile phones and should be improved."

What is most valuable?

Microsoft 365 Business has been incredibly useful during this period because of the integration of Teams with Outlook and the ability to store and handle files of large dimensions.

There are some security issues with the platform, and its security should be improved. We have to re-enter the username and password sometimes, which is quite boring for us.

The usability of Outlook can be improved. Currently, it is a little bit limited and old-fashioned. They should think about the concept of dealing with emails in Teams. Teams and Outlook together will make it a complete platform.

The Teams application is not user-friendly on mobile phones and should be improved.

For how long have I used the solution?

I have been using this solution for more or less six months.

It is stable. It is more stable than before, and I have noticed an improvement in its stability.

A perfect solution with good reliability, stability, and security features to secure our data
Pros and Cons
  • "It is pretty secure. Although it is on the cloud, it has features such as two-factor authentication for making our enterprise data secure. Its availability is very valuable. It is always up, and we've never faced a downtime with it until now."
  • "Its price could be better."

What is most valuable?

It is pretty secure. Although it is on the cloud, it has features such as two-factor authentication for making our enterprise data secure.

Its availability is very valuable. It is always up, and we've never faced a downtime with it until now.

What needs improvement?

Its price could be better.

For how long have I used the solution?

I have been using this solution for more than three years.

What do I think about the stability of the solution?

It is pretty stable.

What do I think about the scalability of the solution?

It is pretty scalable. Currently, we have around 70 users. We plan to keep using this solution and increase its usage in the coming few months.

How are customer service and technical support?

Their technical support is good. We never had any challenge with Microsoft support. They have been very prompt when we needed help.

Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?

We had an open-source mailbox. We are primarily looking at Exchange, but because we have a small IT team, we wanted something that can be easily managed. We came across Microsoft 365. Because it is on the cloud, it takes away the management headache.

How was the initial setup?

Its setup was pretty fast. You need just one person for its deployment.

What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?

It is slightly expensive, but it doesn't have any hidden costs. You know what you're going to spend, and you get a decent ROI on it.

It has subscription-based licensing. It helps you to figure out the amount of money that you would spend based on how many mailboxes you would require in a year, which makes it better as compared to a mail server for which you need to consider the licensing cost and the maintenance cost.

What other advice do I have?

I would absolutely recommend this solution. We plan to keep using this solution, and we are going to buy new licenses soon. It has a lot of automatic upgrades, and they keep on coming up with security fixes and interesting features. There were a couple of features that were not available when we bought it, but over a period of time, they have included all those features in it.

I would rate Microsoft 365 Business a ten out of ten.

Very stable, easy to access, and has a pretty simple set up
Pros and Cons
  • "It's great that one user can log onto many different devices."
  • "The solution's ability to scale could be improved."

What is our primary use case?

We primarily use the solution for mobile device management, among other things. We use the Suite, Sharepoint and Microsoft Exchange. We use Mircosoft for everything.

What is most valuable?

We use Sharepoint a lot. It's excellent.

The fact that it's on the cloud is helpful. It gives us great access.

We use the databases within Microsoft to run our applications, and it's excellent for that.

It's great that one user can log onto many different devices.

What needs improvement?

The licensing could be a lot easier. Right now it's complicated. The process has changed in that the user-mode of licensing is not very easy to manage.

The solution's ability to scale could be improved.

For how long have I used the solution?

I've been using the solution for three years now.

What do I think about the stability of the solution?

The solution is relatively stable. We haven't had issues with bugs or glitches. The solution doesn't seem to crash or freeze. It's been good to us so far.

What do I think about the scalability of the solution?

We have about 250 users on the solution right now.

The scalability is limited on the solution. It requires a bit of administration. For example, when the solution reaches a certain number of the records, you have to delete a number of them so that you can continue to use it. There should be more capacity.

How are customer service and technical support?

I've been in touch with technical support in the past, however, not directly. We do it through a partner. I wouldn't be able to speak to the quality of their service as it's always been handled through a third party.

Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?

We did use a different solution, however, we were in the market for something new in 2016, and that's when we made the switch. Microsoft came and did a pretty good sales pitch. They sold us on their product. We clearly saw the cost-benefit of the product and we switched over.

How was the initial setup?

The solution is pretty straightforward. We actually had a lot of assistance from Microsoft to implement the product. They assisted us and were instrumental in guiding us through the process.

The deployment took about one week or so.

There isn't too much maintenance required for the solution once it's set up. It's done in collaboration with a few outside entities. We have people in the company who are familiar with programming and all that who handle most of the maintenance, and then we have vendors who also come in as necessary. Microsoft helps too.

What about the implementation team?

Microsoft ended up assisting us directly with the initial implementation. We had some help with integrators.

What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?

The cost the impact is low for us due to the fact that we now pay annually instead of having the same license. We've saved a bit of money, switching over to Microsoft.

I'm not sure of the exact pricing, as my colleague handled the payments.

However, I do know the licensing process is a bit complex and could be simplified.

What other advice do I have?

We're just a customer. We don't have a business relationship with Microsoft.

We're working on the latest version of the solution. We get the latest version each time it comes out.

Overall, I'd recommend the solution. It's been very good to us so far and we like the way it functions.

I'd rate it eight out of ten.

The solution is mostly good for business-related tasks.

Overall, I have found it to be a good, reliable product.

The product has been stable over the years.

I cannot speak to any current features and what might be missing.

For how long have I used the solution?

I've been using the solution for about five years at this point. It's been a while.

What other advice do I have?

I'm just a customer and end-user. I'm not a reseller and don't have a business relationship with Microsoft.

I'd rate the solution at a nine out of ten. I have been pleased with the product's capabilities and enjoy using it for work.

I would recommend it to colleagues and other companies.

As it is a cloud-based solution, we always use the latest version.

We use Office Suite and OneDrive storage.

The installation should be supportive of and able to integrate with Linux.

The installation of Microsoft Visio should be made easy.

I have been using Microsoft 365 Business for three years.

What do I think about the stability of the solution?

The solution is stable and enables users to pick up their files from any device the world over.

What do I think about the scalability of the solution?

The solution is scalable.

How are customer service and technical support?

We have not had occasion to contact technical support and have mainly been in touch with Microsoft about payment.

Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?

Before using Microsoft 365 Business, we used the Windows suite, the Office 2016 suite.

How was the initial setup?

The installation is very easy. One just need send users a link for the installation to occur.

What about the implementation team?

The installation can be done on one's own.

What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?

The price is fine. It is perpetual. It allows me to support Mac users on that same service.
