You would need knowledge of Azure to deploy and maintain it in the IT room. Depending on your model, if you have different integrations with, for example, on-prem integration, or network-level integration with your on-prem network, it will be a bit more complex than it is.

Microsoft did an excellent job with the available documentation for Microsoft Azure API Management, and the setup process was quite simple, so I implemented the solution without Microsoft's intervention.

We partnered with a Microsoft Premier Partner for the deployment. They provided valuable expertise and support.

Deployment is straightforward, not complex at all. It was a smooth process.

Currently, it's on-premises. We're migrating it to the cloud, but it's in the testing phase and undergoing acceptance testing for the new environment.

We have a team of 12  to 20 people for project management, one business manager, and one client manager.  

We have consulting companies that help us. The API Management is simple to deploy. We have instances for the production, developer, and staging environments. We have three instances, and the APIs also come with ARM templates. We have a central repository of Azure. Creating a new instance takes a long time, but implementing a new API is faster.

We did the deployment in-house, working directly with Microsoft.

The deployment was quick. The deployment of this product was managed by a manager, so once you set it up, it has a quick turnaround time. 

We used the Azure deployment model and followed the recommended steps for posting the APIs, and also followed the Azure recommended layer for deployment.
