I've worked with a lot of different solutions, including e-commerce and cloud migration solutions in various domains, such as banking and finance.

I've used Microsoft technologies, like Azure and .NET, but not their products. I have experience with Windows Azure CDN. I've worked with a variety of Azure products, including CDN, and AKS.

I've used Azure AKS, Azure Functions, and Azure Storage accounts. I've used File Storage, Block Storage, ADSL, and Data Lake Storage Gen2.

The majority of people are primarily using the Microsoft ecosystem. If I were not part of that ecosystem today, I would undoubtedly require an alternative to Microsoft Azure File Storage. In fact, I would likely opt for either Google or AWS instead.

We use Commvault and Veeam in our organization. The reason to use Microsoft Azure File Storage is that it is a cloud solution. Though the other ones are also cloud solutions, Microsoft offers better pricing compared to them.

It was my first time using a public cloud storage service, such as Microsoft Azure File Storage. It was also my first time using Azure to deploy a web application. The other tool I used wasn't in the public cloud storage but in the data visualization niche. That was Microsoft Power BI, which I connected to a database on Azure and an API gateway.

While I have experience working with Oracle's products, Microsoft's products outperform them. Microsoft offers cloud services, and customers prefer Microsoft for their overall service requirements, even though there may not be a significant difference in the cloud itself.

Our payment solution, it's a complete hybrid model. There are many models running on-premise, and many models running on the cloud, such as AWS and Azure. My payment application is not hosted in one vertical. There are many verticals to it and different product portfolios. The core payment application is on-premise, and certain verticals are hosted onto the AWS platform, but the digital merchant onboarding platform is on the Microsoft Azure File Storage.

The main difference between AWS and Microsoft Azure File Storage which we have found from our compliance perspective since we are in the highly regulated payment industry is that AWS only has the presence in the Mumbai region in India, but Azure has two presence in Chennai and in Mumbai. From the compliance point of view, we found that since our on-premise is again in Mumbai region, we cannot have disaster recovery in the Mumbai region. This is one of the cons for AWS, for which we hosted the merchant onboarding platform on Azure.

I have a small contract with Amazon, but I don't use that very often because it doesn't offer that much storage.
