I've used AWS and Google Cloud but for different purposes. I used AWS for learning, and Google Cloud was used for educational purposes. I helped a friend with AWS for their business on Amazon.

However, this is the first solution I've used for data warehousing. There are a lot of Google Cloud products, but for this job, we're focused on Azure.

We have used hybrid architecture also. We used the storage part and we have used Snowflake also. Everything is available in one place so that the connectivity issues are solved and you get one component talking to everything.

We didn't have anything in place because we implemented Synapse for a specific project. We formulated our use case, considered our options, and decided on Synapse because ware primarily an Azure shop. Using Synapse made sense because it's easier to manage and support.

Before adopting Microsoft Azure Synapse Analytics as my solution of choice, I delved into several other options. One of these alternatives is Snowflake, which I must admit, is a superior choice compared to Microsoft Azure Synapse Analytics. However, it is essential to take into consideration the consumption side when evaluating these solutions. If the consumption side involves Oracle solutions, then an autonomous warehouse would perform better than this solution. On the other hand, if the consumption is within the Azure platform, this solution presents itself as a commendable solution.

I've also used Snowflake.

Azure Synapse is a more integrated platform. With Snowflake, you need to buy it separately and run it off Microsoft. Snowflake, however, has better cost control. Snowflake is comparatively cost-efficient.

For me, it's the fifth data warehouse I've used. Other specialists here also use other warehousing solutions based on SQL but for the moment Synapse Analytics is the best overall solution for us primarily because of its ease of implementation and flexibility.

I also have experience with using Snowflake. It has the option to cache query results, which is helpful.

Amazon Redshift is another similar solution that I have experience with, although it lacks the ability to suspend the computer to save costs when it is not being used.

Snowflake is the only provider with no cloud platform. You have to buy a platform in order to adopt it. Microsoft Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud all have their own dedicated platform. They have their own dedicated data centers.

We deliver platforms to different banks. Some of the banks go with Synapse, and some of the banks go with Snowflake. Overall, these are two major alternatives available right now.

There are multiple differences in terms of the support of different workloads. When one of the banks made a decision to go with Snowflake, the major reason for it was the support for the multi-cloud environment. The major pro of Synapse is the service, and the major con is that when you decide to move out of Synapse, you would have to rewrite the entire thing, whereas, with Snowflake, it would be just simple migration to different cloud providers.
