Adding users is very easy. We can assign user roles and responsibilities. There are no issues with user management.

We have more than 1,000 clients using this solution.

There are scalability limitations because it's on-premises. We can do integrations and make customizations. Customizations are easy to make because it is in the database and is being used with SQL. Integrating it with other third-party applications has its own limitations.

Scalability with Dynamics GP is facilitated by its integration with the broader Microsoft ecosystem, allowing seamless interoperability with other apps. However, there may be some security concerns to address when integrating with external systems. I would rate the scalability as a nine out of ten.

We have a license for 5 users in our organization for Microsoft Dynamics GP, but we have six or seven active users now.

We have tried to extend the solution to one additional user, but because it's an accounting system, we cannot get people to work on it directly. This is because it's a very hard-core accounting system, it is not like an ERP system where people are entering a purchase order directly into that, and some inventory management takes place.

It is a robust ERP system with good scalability, but our present needs are more aligned with cloud-based solutions rather than on-premises which necessitates a shift in design. When considering an upgrade for GP, it would be more advantageous to have a cloud-first approach from the outset, allowing for the flexibility to offer on-premises installations as needed. I would rate it seven out of ten.

The tool is a very scalable product. As long as the servers support it, you can add can have 50-60 concurrent users to the system.

The scalability of the solution is fine. There is no problem with it.

It is ideal for small businesses or private companies, but for larger organizations with different tax regions from South America and the US, it requires a lot of customization.

We have not encountered any noteworthy scalability issues; it’s a matter of increasing the power of the servers and hardware/software that it runs on. We are a tier 4 (highest level of complexity) and are running fine, doing several thousand transactions per month.

The scalability is poor. If it wasn't getting pushed out, it could be something that they improved on. However, Microsoft is no longer continuing with the product.

I had up to 25 to 30 users. They were accounts payable clerks, accounting managers, controllers, et cetera.

I can't speak to if the company plans to increase usage, as I no longer work there anymore.

We are a decent-sized organization with close to 150 GP user licenses and have been able to meet our scalability requirements as we continue to grow. We use a Citrix environment, so we only need to install updates and manage a small number of servers.

The database is SQL Server, which utilizes store procedures, and the store procedures are on SQL Server. So, to some extent, the product is scalable, but it's not one size fits all. For example, if you're running three big companies, it could probably scale to handle them. Still, if you are running 30 small companies, it probably couldn't take 30 small companies properly because of the functionality. Therefore, you have to know the marketplace. We have close to 100 customers using the solution.
