Right now, it's only write-back to a SharePoint Online list, however, I have proof of concepts. I've got a business case that I'm currently trying to get pushed through. I've got other services within our organization that I need to get buy-in from so that we can get this business case approved and get the funding.

Externally or internally, we have several business processes that need to be automated. We write evaluations and also evaluate business procedures to see how they can be simplified. Power Apps is one of the solutions that we mostly use in our company to automate processes. We also have several clients who use it to automate SAP processes. We have been utilizing the tool for very long. We can easily build a very small application or a large database with the tool. It also provides integration with SharePoint. The way this solution helped us improve is by allowing us to collect data by combining it with phones and the tools Microsoft uses to send out surveys and also use it for a number of automation and requests. It creates forms with which people can make requests or respond to surveys and those are worked on the backend. The whole process is done using Power Apps.

Most of the people in our organization using this solution are business people. They are not experts in technology and are not familiar with how to use the application. They use Excel and other documents to collaborate. Moving Excel to the application helps them access different data sources. It allows us to provide all the information in one single place. Everyone can view the data based on their role or access level.

We are a small business. We keep up all sales and duties within our organization. One day someone might be part of the development team, however, next week we want him on the sales team to directly involve them in a small project that we've done for the client. We don't have to go to a different person from an agency or organization or have someone that is always dedicated to a position. We need to be flexible in order to move our employees from here to here. And this solution allows us to change or play around with our own system to reflect the changes of our personnel.

The solution has not helped our organization. Since we moved away from Microsoft PowerApps from the bugs and I'm not sure if it's improved. When I look at the developer community, it's still buggy, there are some issues. It's not consistent when you are working with applications. If I work with the same application, it gives me a different choice every time. It doesn't give you the same choice of how to interact with the application.
