The solution works great and is stable. My obstacle is being able to demonstrate it and show its value to other leaders within the organization. I don't have issues with it crashing or freezing, for example.
It is quite stable. It gives you that assurance since it is from Microsoft. The stability, the reliability is definitely there.
View full review »Regarding stability, with the normal version of the Canvas app and Power Apps, and for fairly simple apps, it's perfect. But if you need a more nested or layered system in your app, setting them up takes a little time. And it also takes a lot of manual maintenance of the items in your product.
Stability depends and varies from case to case. So, what I do is mainly internal and feedback collection and everything to manipulate how the data comes in, which is great. The interface or setting could be better, but they would have compromised all the other things, including the lead time for development. So, for that level of work, the performance would be about eight on a scale of one to ten.

There are no issues about the connection falling. Just, when you are using it, suddenly the page is broken. There is no issue yet, sometimes it gets a little bit frozen and you're waiting a little bit more time to gather results. The table is not a big table with many, many rows, so why is it taking so long, so much time to get the answer back from the app? That's the main issue. There's a performance problem. It's not a stability question.

It is extremely stable.
The apps that we created were not particularly complex. We did not thoroughly test PowerApps to determine their true capabilities. It was similar to tactical applications built as part of the POC to ensure what capabilities of the PowerApps could be used.
It was not used for any critical business application.

In general, the product works fine. That said, there are occasional challenges in performance and when you actually have Power Apps working with other products on Power Platform, such as the Power Automate, et cetera. By and large, however, it's pretty stable.

Microsoft Power Apps is definitely stable. It is as stable as SharePoint and this app model has been in place since 2013. Essentially, it requires you to put code onto a SharePoint site which is not executed there, but rather on a client or on specific workflow codes, which are client. If code executions are well work-flowed, it is capable of saving your script and of the global resources. That capability to take off where you left off, including external resources, is a great strength.
