For printer redirection, we are using third-party software.

We've used Citrix and VMware in the past.

Prior to using Microsoft Remote Desktop, we were using Citrix VDI. We are still using both solutions with different perspectives because on is leveraging on-premise and the other on the cloud.

We previously used VMware and switched to Microsoft Remote Desktop Services because the price was lower.

We also use Citrix. We've been using both for about the same amount of time. 

It's easy when you work together with those technologies, however, the biggest advantage of Citrix is it is a more reliable protocol. Secondly, it's easier to connect devices. Citrix training profiles are also much better.

When we moved to Citrix, we found that the technology needs much lower bandwidth for our internal network. We need fewer people to support our users. It's much easier to scale when we talk about Citrix.

We use Vendor Desktop Infrastructure. We still use Citrix and we used VMware Horizon as well. 

We were using Citrix, which I found to be much better.

I've used Log Meln previously. It's a lot better, yet it is quite expensive. There's also TeamViewer, which is well known, and we've used it before. Once again, with the things I do, it is expensive. As a company, you need to pay a big fee. It's not ideal for small teams. 

We have used different solutions in the past. We found it was easier to centralize control and maintain better security with it. 

I have not used a similar solution to Microsoft Remote Desktop Services.

I have previously used other solutions, such as Citrix and VMware. Citrix is the best choice of the ones I have tried.

I have used Citrix in the past as well. I used it for different use cases. We like Microsoft for its small-scale simplicity. It is not VDI, per se. It's just a remote desktop.

We are also using TeamViewer. It targets different areas from Remote Desktop. For example, it allows others to access your system - not you. They each serve different purposes. 

Before this solution, we used Citrix.

We already had a license with Microsoft, and therefore, it was natural to use this product as well.

I've also used Citrix. I prefer Citrix to Remote Desktop connections. The management and flow are better.

Hyper-V is also challenging Citrix. However, Citrix has a strong reputation still.

I'm familiar with TeamViewer and Desktop Anywhere. They are good, however, we are concerned they have issues surrounding security. That's why we prefer this product.

We used Splashtop solutions, not TeamViewer, and this is also quite a good solution and offers good quality. However, Microsoft's solution offers better support and a more convenient way to optimize support from one administrator to many users. Microsoft's processes are much smoother.

I have used TeamViewer in the past, however, it's quite different from this product. I used the consumer version, not the enterprise version.

We previously used Citrix. Microsoft Remote Desktop Services is a more developed version of Citrix.

I would recommend going for VMware.

We have used VNC Viewer, UltraVNC, and TeamViewer before.

We run Citrix alongside this solution for our internet connected clients. Microsoft Remote Desktop Services (RDS) was used primarily over our LAN/WAN.

I previously used GoToMyPC because I used to do upgrades from home at night. We were paying for that solution which wasn't necessary with the free Microsoft option. I used both of them for a short time and realized Remote Desktop really seemed to draw the screen better and also everybody else was using it. 

We chose this solution because it's a Microsoft Cloud and end-to-end all solution, Cloud 365. In addition, it's all Microsoft, so it made sense to stay with the same VDI solution.

We have used Citrix previously and it is more stable but it's a more expensive platform. 

We chose Microsoft because it was cheaper. 

Previously we used VMware but Microsoft is easy to deploy. 

I've worked with VMware Horizon and Citrix before.

VMware Horizon is easier to manage, although the Microsoft product is easier to install than other solutions.

Previously, I did not use another product. I have only used Microsoft.

We are using a mixture of Remote Desktop Services and Citrix solutions. Citrix is more prevalent based on this solution category.

We did not previously use a different solution.

Previously we experimented with other products, but for the moment we are staying with Microsoft remote desktops.

There are other products that we are looking for. At the moment we have four different platforms, and maybe having a unified solution might be the key reason to change in the future. We need a cross-platform solution. We have to have remote access, for example, on Linux Solutions as well, and we don't want to be running on different clients.

We were using a previous solution. However, I needed ways to telecommute to the office and I came across this solution; it seemed like the best bet.

I have used similar products by different vendors and the difference between Microsoft and the others is the client. Microsoft needs to have the client installed, whereas other vendors use a web-based interface.
