The tracking status and communication are no longer restricted to conference rooms or limited areas. In a mobile working environment, flexibility and ease of access are essential to facilitate progress and collaboration. MS Teams offers features for hosting virtual meetings, webinars, and live events, which is especially valuable for remote or distributed project teams and training events. Most importantly, configure notifications to stay informed about project updates, mentions, or changes in channels. These features replace email for points of contact and maintain records instantly.

The product has improved communication in our organization. When I joined the organization, we were using Skype for Business, and there weren't a lot of group chats. Group chats are huge in Teams. I don't remember ever doing that on Skype for Business or any other platform. The product has really improved collaboration with other departments, like our developers and the operations team.

The solution has improved internal collaboration. We can seamlessly interact on a number of documents by projecting them on the screen. This experience is not with internal teams but with clients as well.

Microsoft Teams reduced the significant cost of traveling. We have a large-scale network of branches in the country and abroad too. It became pretty easy to share documents across different teams, groups, and individually.

Instant chat made people more engaged and reachable at all times. Instead of sending email to colleagues, we can discuss and share documents immediately.

The mobile app really enabled us to connect meetings on the go from anywhere.

We regularly organize seminars for distributors, and this channel helped us organize a large audience online.

Previously, we used to share files in SharePoint, and then someone had to pull it out, make changes, and upload it back. We used to miss those changes, and it remained on its local laptops. The best thing is that anyone can make changes to the files on Microsoft Teams. It auto-saves whatever we have done, and we can see the version within Microsoft Teams.

The basic need for any project is mostly team-specific content. Right now, if I open up my teams, I can see I have 10 to 12 different projects going on parallelly. I can easily go to Microsoft Teams and then find out what is happening where. Even though someone told me that I made some changes, I can go to Microsoft Teams and find out what changes are there. The solution helps us save time by not making us wait for someone to send an email or upload to SharePoint.

Communication within the university has improved. For one, every conversation has its history well organized, making it easier to search for previous conversations or topics.

Also, the contact list views are useful; everyone from the university is there, and you can easily make a video call. It's easier for students to reach teachers, and communication is faster because you get notifications.

We also use it with the integration of Microsoft applications.

We have an open team; other organizations can find and talk to us on Microsoft Teams. We don't have to talk about work using other solutions like WhatsApp. We choose WhatsApp because it's easier for us. However, when I want to speak about something more confidential, I do it on Microsoft Teams. Whenever I talk to a partner, we talk on Microsoft Teams, as our platforms are open to each other. I utilize Microsoft Teams to discuss confidential matters.

This solution is great for ad hoc video conferencing. It's so easy to start a meeting. We're finding more and more uses for the Teams video conferencing features. I'll be honest, it's a bit of a challenge for people to use the video aspect. The tendency for people is to not turn on their camera because they don't like the way they look or they're not able to sit in their pajamas during meetings if there's video involved. However, it's been a game-changer since the pandemic as it allows us to keep in touch with our teams remotely.

Teams enhances collaboration within our team and with our customers. While we've had positive experiences overall, one issue we've encountered is inconsistent remote access through Teams. However, for field meetings and estimations, it functions effectively.

The video conferencing capability has significantly enhanced our remote meetings, making them more productive. It allows people from different locations to convene at a central point, enabling seamless sharing of views, solutions, and discussions without the need for physical travel. This efficient communication method enables us to address various matters and reach solutions in minimal time.

We used Skype for business in the past and we had a reasonable audio and visual experience when communicating with teams, if you have a scheduled meeting, for example. But now, with Microsoft Teams, we are able to communicate in real-time and share documents in real-time. And that is a really big improvement for us. The solution has a lot of capabilities in one application. Whereas in the past we had to use multiple applications. That, I would say, would be the biggest benefit that we've experienced, in that we have only one application that we can use to collaborate and speak with each other.

This is a collaboration tool so in the current situation, the most important thing for us is to be able to continue to run our business in a collaborative manner. Given that nobody is working from the office and there's no way to meet formally to discuss key challenges and discuss work updates, moving to this solution was a good option. Since we started using it, our productivity has increased and we are very coordinated with each team member.
