Microsoft Teams Implementation Team

We did the product's deployment in-house.
View full review »The solution's deployment took a couple of months. However, that was the initial version of Microsoft Teams, which had no features. Over the last two to three years, it has improved a lot, and it's much easier to use now compared to how it was about a couple of years back.
Our company has a separate team to deploy Microsoft products that takes care of the deployment and maintenance of Microsoft Teams.
The deployment took probably three months. We did it by ourselves. A coworker and I deployed the product in our organization.

We install Teams in-house.
The deployment takes five to ten minutes for one user. We can deploy the solution for one user on their device, or we can deploy a script over the network. Then, the installation is done through patch management. The deployment was done in-house. We do not need much staff. Two of my employees and I can deploy and support levels one and two. For level three support, we have a team that supports remotely.

I had Microsoft Teams installed by the IT department.
Generally, it is the backend team that does the deployment. As end users, we are there to create our folders and channels. We can manage our individual projects by ourselves. However, from the server level, a dedicated company team works on the solution's deployment.
View full review »Our organization used Microsoft's services in the cloud for deployment purposes since it is much cheaper and easier for us than to have our own infrastructure for deployment. In short, we didn't do the deployment in-house.

The setup is usually done by the IT people in the organization. As an end user, we just start using the features and the product.
View full review »It was done in-house. We did not have an indicated person for that. Everyone knows that they're using Teams and they install it by themselves. Most of the time, there is no help needed to install Teams.

We have an employee in house that maintains the licensing, however, we install the solution ourselves for the most part.

We are IT and system integrators ourselves. Although we're a small company, our organization has a technical team who does the deployment. We didn't have to take any assistance from outside.
My technical team remotely deployed Microsoft Teams. From a user perspective, if I had to connect or have a Microsoft Teams meeting with any of my vendors, customers, or internally, I know how to do it, and it's quite simple.

The deployment time may range from one to three months. Our deployment process involves setting up database, application, and web servers. However, we're currently facing a challenge as the Network Access Control service is unavailable on any cloud platform. Our solution relies on NAC for initial authentication, followed by communication with middleware before completing the cycle. Due to the absence of NAC on cloud platforms, we're exploring alternatives. Suggestions have been made to run the NAC function on-premises and then deploy the solution on the cloud. However, management is hesitant until a cloud-based NAC solution is available. This delay has stalled the project's progress despite initial work starting six months ago.
We've deployed the project with our in-house technical team, not relying on third-party assistance. Multiple teams were involved in the deployment process, including the development team and PMO team. Each team member played a crucial role, with approximately five to ten individuals participating in each deployment phase. Two people are sufficient for maintenance.
