This solution has improved a great deal over time and in many domains. They have hired experts from around the world, from vendors such as Cisco, to help improve the product. Some examples are scripting has improved, along with advanced routing techniques, and wireless device support. However, the biggest improvements are in cloud routers.

Normally, every two months at the maximum, new updates and firmware is released for the devices. It is really amazing. It is like the developers do not sleep at all. I am consistently impressed with how their technology is advancing.

Overall, this is a product that works well.

I’m not sure which version we’re using. We're using the cloud base. It's an IP cloud, a MikroTik IP Cloud.

I’d advise new users to create a map of the environment before the configuration. They have to design the map and then they have to configure everything. They need to also choose their router according to their unique requirements. If they have the heavy requirements, they must have to use a better model. If you have a net requirement, a small setup, you have to buy the smaller routers.

I’d rate the solution seven out of ten based on the hardware limitations on offer.

If the price point of the market is there, MikroTik is the best. I think the Cloud Router Switches are most suitable for mid-segment companies and not large telcos. Their OSS is advanced and robust.

Before I put all my recommendations to the person, I would like to know the person's budget and the environment where the router will be used. If it makes sense, I would recommend this solution.

I rate the solution an eight out of ten. The solution can be improved by including Hyper-threading in the next release.

I'd recommend the solution to smaller companies. The pricing is good and it is easy to configure.

I'd cautiously recommend the solution to others. It's not intelligent, however, it does work. I'd rate it at a seven out of ten.

I think that Mikrotik is the best solution for SOHO and small businesses because the price is very good and it includes a lot of features. For larger companies, I would recommend a different product, perhaps by Cisco.

I would recommend this solution to others. To those considering implementation, the advice I can give is that I think this is an excellent solution for small- to medium-sized, mid-range companies. It's easy to learn, easy to utilize, and there's a wealth of knowledge available on these to support them.

MIkrotik CRS switches are basically metro switches so overkill for the less complex installations.
