The initial setup is straightforward. As a partner of McAfee, now Trelex, I have access to the e-learning center and learning partner center. The tools and study materials are great because it's detailed and easy to understand. I use the materials to implement the features.

The deployment is modular, for example, TAPI for Office 365 takes about two weeks. We have another functionality with Shadow IT and it takes another two weeks. Right now, I'm starting Secure Web Gateway in a hybrid solution with a proxy on-premise and secure web level on the cloud. It will take me about a month because it's not my task. It will maybe take two weeks or more. So per model or per functionality, it's about two weeks every time.

The initial setup of MVISION Cloud is simple. From the moment that you have all the requirements, the process only takes five minutes. MVISION Cloud will notify you that they will have a maintenance day, which will take approximately one hour, but you don't notice that they are doing it.

You have to have some kind of background with cloud-based security, like working with different providers and how to make instances in the clouds and that kind of stuff - including cloud, networking cloud, cloud application development, anything like that is a requirement to be in the CASB space.

I rate Skyhigh eight out of 10 for ease of setup. The setup is pretty straightforward if you have help from the vendor. You need some support initially, but adding servers is easy after you deploy the first one. After installation, you can update the system with a click of a button.

The initial setup for Skyhigh Security is simple. Clients can do it themselves because they have already been using the ePolicy server on-premises solution and now are moving out onto Skyhigh Security, and with the added features, they're more comfortable with the setup.

For Shadow IT, it was straightforward.

For Sanctioned App Security deployment, it was a bit more complex. This was primarily due to the amount of integrations we decided to do with the existing technologies we owned, like DLP, SSO, etc., and because of the size of our cloud application.

Setup is a little bit complex but I think the environment is complex. We needed help from McAfee and another integrator.

I would rate the complexity of setup 4 out of 5.

You don't install the solution. The dashboard comes from McAfee Cloud. You just integrate it with your cloud, and you enter your credentials to your cloud providers. If you want, you can integrate it with an on-premise McAfee web gateway to get insights, shadow IP, sanction IT apps, look for unsanctioned apps, and whatnot. However, it's not software that you can take and install wherever you like. It's a service, basically.

The initial setup is quite easy. You must provide a log sample to Skyhigh, who then make sure their log parser is specifically suited to the customer. Once you have received a tenant, and the parser has been created by Skyhigh, the setup takes approximately one hour.

The initial setup is not straightforward. You must know technology and networking. It would also be helpful if you have some expertise with McAfee products. If you have one person who is certified on McAfee products you can do the setup yourself.

It took approximately 3 days to deploy and implement 2 boxes on-premises. It then takes 5 to 10 days to fine-tune it. In total it takes about two weeks to set up.
