Tricentis NeoLoad proves to be an excellent tool for supporting both SAP and non-SAP applications seamlessly. Its standout feature lies in the impressive reusability of Tosca scripts. If you have Tosca installed for desktop automation, leveraging the existing Tosca scripts becomes a seamless transition to using Tricentis NeoLoad.

In summary, I would give Tricentis NeoLoad a rating of nine out of ten.

Right now, six people use Tricentis NeoLoad within the company.

Two people take care of the deployment of Tricentis NeoLoad, and two to three people handle its maintenance.

There's a plan to increase usage for Tricentis NeoLoad, mainly because my company is trying to explore more tool features. If it's easier to integrate Tricentis NeoLoad with third-party monitoring tools, then usage could be increased.

My advice to others planning to implement Tricentis NeoLoad is to first look into the applications to be tested because there's a limitation in the tool right now, particularly the feasibility of testing Web and Citrix Desk applications. There's also no support for other applications. If you need testing for different protocols, for example, Oracle or JDBC database applications, you'll need to use a different tool because Tricentis NeoLoad currently doesn't have compatibility. It's better first to find out what applications you want to test, your testing goal, and if that would be compatible with Tricentis NeoLoad.

I'm rating Tricentis NeoLoad as seven out of ten.

There aren't other solutions as competitive as Tricentis NeoLoad when it comes to the performance side. From the cost perspective, users should consider whether the solution is useful for them from a long-term or short-term point of view while also considering the integrations and loads they plan to manage with the solution. I recommend Tricentis NeoLoad and LoadRunner to those planning to purchase a solution.

I rate the overall solution a nine out of ten.

This is a user-friendly and straightforward solution with a good support system. Unlike JMeter or LoadRunner, it doesn't require significant coding knowledge. 

I rate this solution eight out of 10. 

I give the solution nine out of ten.

In older versions, the network protocol only supported up to six users per ID. The latest version 9.4 has been improved by increasing the number of users per ID to 30.

With this solution, you can add users to Tricentis NeoLoad Web so they can visit the site and see what is happening. When running a load test the users have read-only access and can see what is happening on the server side with the number of requests in use, the throughput, and the failure rate.

JMeter is another solution that can support all the protocols but we found that it was not recording properly and would not allow us to customize as required so we chose this solution.

Any person thinking of using this solution must have a minimum knowledge of gathering and using variables, and be familiar with performance testing and JavaScript in order to operate successfully.

The buyers should make a purchase decision depending on the usage of their project protocols. They should use the solution if they have to deal with a load on-premises. It is quite a good product compared with other solutions. But working better for on-premises setup doesn't make it an exceptional product. If you're working with web API only, better products are available.

I rate the solution as a seven out of ten.

I'm rating Tricentis NeoLoad seven out of ten, while Micro Focus LoadRunner I'm rating a five out of ten. I'm not giving Tricentis NeoLoad a score of ten because I want to see more out of it in terms of integration, particularly how it integrates with other Tricentis products.

There is a customized version for BlazeMeter, but it's a solution that cannot be compared with either Micro Focus LoadRunner or Tricentis NeoLoad, because it is more of an open source solution, so you do not get support that's comparable with the support you get from paid solutions.

I would recommend the solution to others. However, my recommendation would depend on other parameters like the extent of testing and investment that they may want to do. There is some investment associated with it. It may not be justified if they are just doing load testing as one of the activities. Considering the ease of use, technical setup, and level of support provided, I rate the solution a seven out of ten.

I would encourage others to take a look at this solution. It is a good solution and they maintain the technical expertise needed for success.

I rate Tricentis NeoLoad an eight out of ten.

It's definitely worth a try. Compared to LoadRunner and other tools, it gives more flexibility and is easier to maintain. 

Overall, I'd rate Tricentis NeoLoad a seven out of ten.

Newer additions such as NeoLoad SAP, Citrix, NeoLoad Web, etc. are excellent extensions with a broad range of new functions.

Organizations should be aware that there are limited videos available on the internet regarding NeoLoad so they should ensure that they receive proper training from the reseller/integrator upon purchase. 

Leverage the free version of performance tools to its maximum capability to evaluate and cross check against the performance testing needs for your business to make an informed decision on buying the tool. The pros outweigh the cons and so NeoLoad is highly recommended over its competitors.

If you are dealing only with web HTTP, you can definitely go ahead with this solution because time is money. 

I would rate NeoLoad an eight out of 10.

Overall, I would rate the solution an eight out of ten. There are certain areas that need improvements in NeoLoad, like UI, correlation templates, and more.

As long as the organization's requirements are met, I recommend Tricentis NeoLoad.

NeoLoad is a good tool for banking or telecom applications. When compared with the LoadRunner, NeoLoad will support almost all necessary features including reporting. It is a good tool.

Overall, I would rate the solution at a six out of ten.

It's a good tool to use if you are not willing to spend lots of money on HP LoadRunner licenses.

They have been very responsive. They have even made an on-site visit. It’s been very good, they have had recent turnover but they are managing the transition well and they have even had a top team member reach out to us.

My rating for Tricentis NeoLoad is eight out of ten.

My advice to others looking to start using Tricentis NeoLoad is that it's a good product, and it would be money well spent.

My company is into product development, and it's a user or a customer of Tricentis NeoLoad.

My advice to anybody who is implementing NeoLoad is to first understand the technical requirements. Also, it is important to make sure that you have access to the endpoints that you want to load-test on.

Overall, it seems like a good product.

I don't have much experience with JMeter, so I don't know much about the differences between the products except that JMeter is open-source and NeoLoad is licenced, proprietary software.

On a scale of one to 10, I would rate Tricentis NeoLoad as seven. 

Choose this if your portfolio is predominantly web and mobile. You need to reconsider if your portfolio has many SAP GUI-based applications.

We would rate this solution a six out of ten.

I would rate this solution 9 out of 10. I wouldn't give it a 10 because there are some issues that need to be resolved from the tool side.

Before using the tool, you need to understand the product you are going to design, the different types of performance applications that you are going to do performance testing with, and whether or not NeoLoad supports it. If yes, then go ahead. Otherwise, I would say go back to LoadRunner because whatever the application is, LoadRunner will support it.

Take the time to see what NeoLoad can do when scripted from scratch and remember that it takes a bit of time to become an expert with the advanced features. Some complex actions may require written code, but there is very little that is actually impossible to test with NeoLoad. The limit is usually a function of experience with the software.

The features introduced in the recently released new version of NeoLoad fit really well into the DevOps way of working, further reducing the time for rescripting. This enables rapid delivery and lean ways of working.

It is very easy to implement and you can start using it fairly quickly.

I highly recommend understanding load testing concepts before using any automation tool.

The company really strives on experience, always making sure that I as a customer am happy. For example, my team at Dell had an issue with our new version, which we had just updated to. Another team used a different version which required different protocols, and there were discrepancies between the versions. The company found out that our errors were user errors, and helped us fix the problem.

I helped them in terms of product development since we at Dell told them requirements and they added that to product life cycles. So we are a customer, but told them some requirements we'd like to see.

I would recommend Tricentis NeoLoad to other users.

Overall, I rate Tricentis NeoLoad a nine out of ten.

You will love NeoLoad moving from open source and code-based performance tools.

Everyone's needs are a little bit different, so make sure you do a good POC.

You should attend a three day training course to fully understand the functioanlity of NeoLoad.

NeoLoad is the performance testing solution for Web and Mobile applications that can also be used to run the tests from cloud by having load generator’s from various locations. If there is a strong performance team that can analyze and correlate the test results with the raw data, then NeoLoad would be the right solution.

The ease of recording scripts and the correlation process, the force-on monitoring, success on the mobile side, and easy integration with code analysis tools are the reasons I have rated this product so high.

Identify what kind of testing your company needs (mobile, database, web, and so on) and find out if NeoLoad supports it.

It’s a very powerful tool which meets all our load and performance testing requirements, along with very sophisticated monitoring tools and reports.

Go ahead and give it a try.

If you’re coming from a code-based solution, spend time with Actions to become familiar with them. Additionally, if you’re using an APM tool like Dynatrace, test out the integration just to see what it gives you.

It's a great product, especially if you are looking into mobile performance testing.

Start with some small, simple scenarios and expand complexity from there. Your project will take shape quickly, and something that seems overwhelming and complex will all of a sudden will not be so hard. Use the online resources and videos.

We have pretty close to the latest version of the solution but are currently trying to make an upgrade.

I can recommend that product. I'd also recommend that new or potential users do some training. It's a good idea to use experienced partners or consultants to assist with the initial setup.

I'd rate the solution nine out of ten.

More protocols can be added, and I would love to see if any profiler is included in it.

We're currently looking for a NeoLoad alternative. I prefer dynamic tools because we should be able to change the script and NeoLoad didn't allow us to do that. I'm looking for a tool that will allow for a weekly or monthly script change and provide us with the ability to update whatever has been recorded.
