NetApp Cloud Volumes ONTAP Compared to Native
Does this solution enable you to manage your native cloud storage better than if you used management options provided by the native cloud service? If yes, please explain how.

My impression of ONTAP against native AWS integrations is that FSx is much cheaper. That said, NetApp has more flexibility. Therefore, it is competitive against AWS. NetApp has an advantage in its class, and FSx an advantage in terms of its low cost. FSx just lacks in features.

You have control over configuration and retention as well. You can keep data for longer because of the in-built backup feature.
