Previously, we were using EMC, but the move to NetApp was really before I had any involvement with our storage environment, so I really can't speak to the motivation for our changing storage providers. The more time I have spent with the product, the more I appreciate what I view as an unmatched level of innovation in NetApp's storage products.

I have used products from Dell. 

I have used NetApp, Pure Storage, IBM, HP, Lenovo, and IBM Storage.

We were using NetApp as our primary storage vendor. However, we had previously experimented with other vendors. They only had a small presence within our infrastructure. Our infrastructure relies heavily on NetApp, which accounts for 80-90% of our storage. We still have a few HP, Dell, and Lenovo storage arrays in certain regions, such as South America, that we intend to replace with NetApp. As for other vendors like Pure Storage and IBM, they are solutions I've worked with.

I am familiar with Dell and IBM solutions, and NetApp Snapshot is better. It is very easy to maintain and easy to use.

We previously used different solutions.

We used standard backup solutions by Dell EMC. We actually preferred Dell EMC solutions. 

I am using HPE 3PAR in addition to this solution. We have not switched.

We didn't specifically use another solution. We use HPE systems in tandem with NetApp, so I wouldn't say that NetApp was replacing any other product.
