Review of Microsoft

The ability to speed up delivery is an asset. To look at more documentation, engineering, or an open standard would be nice.
What is most valuable? The fact that it's an ecosystem in itself is probably the best one. It fits into the whole Microsoft stack. Everything this year is all about stacks, and I tend to agree… more»
How has it helped my organization?Back in '96, '97, '98, nobody was doing intake. So that was a new thing that came in 2000. And it created the container based inherited permissions, which was new for that… more»
What needs improvement?I guess price would be the thing, and some of the proprietary lock-in. But, I guess documentation and support would be good. The features are fine. I wouldn't suggest any… more»
What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing? There's no such thing as a "free lunch." If you'd save money here, it costs money there. If you pay more upfront, you pay less when you get off. The market equals itself… more»
Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch? We have prior experiene with Novell.
What other advice do I have?Last year Microsoft had said that the onsite Active Directory ,as we know it, is going to be deprecated. So that means group policy, that means security groups, the NTLM… more»
Which other solutions did I evaluate? There's a couple of other options on the market like Okta, and a few things like that. They're quite simple, and because they're separate from the whole Microsoft… more»

What is most valuable? The most valuable features of this solution include the Service Automation with unlimited possibilities such as dynamic forms, approval workflows, extensive roles, and… more»
How has it helped my organization?By giving users the ability to fully manage their own workspace, while still being able to monitor and administer such actions, we can focus on new-business and projects… more»
What needs improvement?I would like to have the built-in provisioning module improved. I’ve seen demos in the past of HR systems like AFAS and Raet being connected to HelloID, and perfectly… more»
What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?I think the pricing is something personal, so that is fully dependent on your budget. Since HelloID is very reasonably priced, the return-on-investment is fast.
Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch? Before this solution, we used RES Ivanti. We switched mainly because of the price and the future expectations (Ivanti took over RES and it got messy from there on).
What other advice do I have?I would recommend following them for the demos and webinars. There is a lot of cool stuff and features which you might not have known about. At this moment, we do not have… more»
Which other solutions did I evaluate? We have evaluated Okta, ServiceNow and Azure. Ultimately, HelloID came out on top for us.
Review of Google

What is most valuable?Mainly we find that all the authentication features that we are using now are the most valuable. We have not looked at the whole product and explored it completely as this was primarily what we wanted it for. Maybe in another year of use… more»
What needs improvement? To improve the product, the integration with third-party products could always be smoother. I cannot pinpoint a specific new feature that we will need in the future as the product is serving our purposes. But if we talk about integration… more»
What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing? The product is billed on a monthly basis. I think it can be free for a certain number of users when you have the G Suite. At some point, it starts to cost something per user, but I'm not sure of the exact pricing at this time.
Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch? There are a lot of different products like this that we have used, but the one that we can directly compare with is Microsoft Azure Active Directory Premium, which we also use quite a lot. We have not actually switched. We are still using… more»
What other advice do I have?It is as good as anything else in the product category. It works just like other products that do the same, like Oracle (Identity Cloud Service) or Microsoft Azure or Okta. On a scale from one to ten where one is the worst and ten is the… more»
Review of Auth0

What is most valuable? The most valuable feature would have to be authentication using OpenID Connect.
How has it helped my organization? It has improved our organization by providing login authentication for a mobile app.
What needs improvement? The product could use a more flexible administration structure in the next release. It could be improved by extending the administration model.
What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing? There are licensing costs for this product. We have an enterprise agreement with Auth0.
Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch? We previously used a different solution which was an open-source solution that was on-prem. I can't recall the name of that, but it was an open-source tool. One of the… more»
What other advice do I have?In terms of advice, I think that if your application is developer-driven, then Auth0 provides extremely good developer support and supports multiple development tools and… more»
Which other solutions did I evaluate? We evaluated a couple of other options before choosing Auth0. We looked at Microsoft and Okta. We went with Auth0 because at the time Microsoft was about to renew, so it… more»
