This is the most attractive solution when implemented with ALE LAN solution. That said, as a standalone, it is very useful too - especially in Express mode.

Sometimes, we're not able to meet the complex requirement with Stellar.

I did an audit with the previous version of Alcatel-Lucent OmniAccess Stellar because it had been installed two years ago where I did the audit.

My advice is that Alcatel-Lucent should push its partners to be well-trained in wireless technology before promoting its solution (this is the case unfortunately for most vendors)

I’d rate this product as an eight out of 10 because it is not accessible to everyone to take 100% advantage of the product. Only those with certification and high-tech experience can get 100% out of it, not the average IT person.

Look at the needs of the client, or your own needs as an IT administrator, and look for an Alcatel reseller or partner with experience to help you with the solution.
