Alcatel-Lucent OmniAccess Stellar Pricing

At times, it appears that the solution's pricing is slightly higher. This makes it challenging to persuade customers who primarily focus on the price, especially when they are aware of more affordable alternatives like Ubiquiti. While I wish there was flexibility to bring down the price a bit, I understand that the segment is positioned near Aruba and Cisco products. The aim is to maintain competitiveness while ensuring the price remains below that of major competitors.

This is a very attractive solution with an average market price. Express mode is easy to deploy. Enterprise mode installations need more training for engineering stuff; however, free guides are available through partners. For starter Enterprise configuration, the first ten access points are licensed for free.

It's pricey, but better than similar solutions.

Alcatel-Lucent OmniAccess Stellar is a mid-range solution with respect to pricing. I rate Alcatel-Lucent OmniAccess Stellar a six out of ten for pricing.

The price of this product is average and it is a one-time, perpetual license.

When compared with other vendors, the cost of Alcatel-Lucent is less than Cisco but more expensive than Linksys.

Earlier I wouldn't give a reference to another vendor except CISCO. Now I would prefer OmniAccess WLAN Stellar AP1230.

The price is in the range of other brands like Cisco, maybe a little cheaper but you get the same features, facilities, and security.

Licensing is something Alcatel is making changes to. A few years ago you would buy a WLAN solution from Alcatel for half the price of Cisco, but you would spend the same amount on licensing. Today this is different and the licensing is cheaper.
