OmniPeek Scalability

OmniPeek is scalable. You have can have a single license but multiple licenses are available. You can install the solution on laptops and servers and the IP can be given to users.

We have approximately 20 testing units and 15 people who use Wireshark as automation analysts and others who use OmniPeek for manual testing.

OmniPeek is definitely scalable. There is a lot of potentials for it to be used on a daily basis. I have been working in this industry for the last 8 to 9 years and I have come across many vendors and customers who are familiar with this solution. They know of OmniPeek's capabilities and how it can help them. The only limitation in terms of pricing comes when purchasing a license to use the OmniPeek software, as it is only available for Windows and is costly. The scalability of the software is advantageous for vendors who use the tool and for performance testing, as it provides a lot of information. Therefore, OmniPeek is highly scalable and offers good value for money.

The solution isn't really scalable, and we haven't really used it for scaling.

We have five or six people sharing two copies.

We installed it on a notebook, so whoever needs to sniff the packet just grabs the laptop, and then he or she can sniff the wireless packet.

Because I only use this for a single incident I don't scale it, so I can't comment on the scalability.
