What is most valuable?

* Stability * Versatility * It is integrated across all our IT platforms in our infrastructure, which is a big plus.

How has it helped my organization?

We have about 40 million jobs and workflows go through our organization's Automic instance every year, from our Treasury functions to our SAP functions. We use it in approximately 30 to 40 applications. It is very important to us.

What needs improvement?

* While the cost is competitive, there is always room for improvement. * It has a very complicated interface, which could be made to be more user-friendly.

What do you think of CA Workload Automation?

Valuable Features We find scheduling to be the most valuable feature because we can do so on multiple platforms and we can define them once then re-use them. • Improvements to My Organization It's given our organization stability because we're able to perform scheduling functions that provides order and predictability to our workload. • Room for Improvement I can't think of anything at the moment. • Deployment Issues We've had no issues with deployment. • Stability Issues Never had any issues, which is the main reason we use it. We don’t use other products for scheduling on the mainframe. • Scalability Issues We’ve never had any issues. Valuable Features Gates is one interesting feature, which will help approvers provide their approvals in advance, without having to rely on when deployment happens. • Improvements to My Organization It has helped developers manage and deploy their own applications. • Room for Improvement The Archiving policy is something which should be looked at. The resource tree is pretty bulky and slow.
