In the past, I used Qlik or Tableau only once to quickly create some reports. I felt the aforementioned products were dynamic and allowed me to create reports more easily, making me feel that the tool was very user-friendly. The number or level of data used in Qlik or Tableau compared to Oracle, there is a huge difference, making it difficult to compare.

We have evaluated AWS. We have evaluated Microsoft Azure as well, but not for this purpose.

I rate my experience with Microsoft a nine out of ten. SAP also offers powerful tools but does not match the same level as Microsoft or Oracle.

I have experience with AWS. Oracle Cloud is available at a low cost compared to AWS. Compared to Oracle Cloud, AWS offers more services and quality at a high cost.

AWS also provides a database and S3 as a part of their services. Oracle is more easy to learn, while AWS is hard to learn.

I have not used other solutions. 

We have not previously used a similar solution to Oracle Cloud Platform. We started with Oracle Cloud Platform because we were already using Oracle products and we decided that deploying Oracle products on Oracle Cloud Platform would be a more sensible idea than deploying on other cloud solutions.

I have used the tool and I switched to Oracle Cloud since its free. 

We have not used any other solution besides Oracle Cloud.

I have a vast experience of 23 years and I have used many solutions over the years. Oracle Cloud Platform may not be the best solution, but it's comparable to other solutions.

We previously were using an on-premise data center.

I have used Amazon AWS and they are a better vendor for all cloud technologies. Some features and requirements of Amazon AWS are different from Oracle Cloud.

I have used Amazon AWS previously.

The main differences between OCI and other solutions in the same category are the price, which is lower, the selection of databases, and the services offered. When compared to Amazon AWS, which has a wider selection of databases and more services available, OCI hasn't reached the same level of power yet. Additionally, OCI typically only offers Intel or AMD processors, whereas other providers may offer other options like Graviton services.

Another advantage of OCI is its flexibility when it comes to sizing. With OCI, you can move from 1 to 4 vCPU, whereas with Amazon AWS, you need to double the size of the previous instance. Overall, OCI has a lower price, and more flexible sizing options, but offers fewer services than Amazon AWS.

We previously worked with Excel databases. 

I'm also familiar with AWS and Azure. 

AWS was based on high-performance computing and their infrastructure is more powerful than Oracle infrastructure.

I previously used SAP. SAP is more of a technical code which made it hard for me to cope with. In comparison, Oracle is more user-friendly and offers consultation.

We also use Microsoft Azure, Amazon AWS, and Event Cloud. The functionality of these platforms is the same, but the performance of this solution for IAM is better.

I have not previously used another solution. This is the first one. That's why I mentioned a few times that I don't have a benchmark to actually compare Oracle with. When I compare it with Amazon or a similar product it's from the knowledge that I got from researching online. I don't have the first-hand experience with other cloud platforms.

We had not used a different cloud solution for our infrastructure prior to Oracle. This was our first experience with this type of product.  

I am currently using Amazon Web Services (AWS), Azure, and Oracle Cloud. For specific workloads, we might use AWS, but when it comes to database-intensive workloads then Oracle definitely has an edge.

I also work with Azure and AWS.

We didn't previously use a different solution before implementing Oracle.

I've personally worked on Amazon Cloud Services. I'm certified in it. We're currently in the evaluation stage of a few different products.

AWS and Azure have a wide range of services compared to Oracle Cloud is a very, very stable solution.

Previously, I used Oracle Database and switched to Oracle Cloud. It was a single point of ownership, so it was the right fit for us.

Previously, we were using another solution but decided that we wanted to move toward Oracle products.

Before, we were managing databases on-premise. Now, we manage them on the cloud.

We used a desktop application previous to this solution.
