The product’s scalability is good. We can have 32 replicas of the same database working in tandem. It is a very good solution. We can also cascade the database replica to replica. Around 120 customers use the solution. I rate the scalability a ten out of ten.

Beginning from version twelve, scalability has significantly improved for the Data Guard system. In versions prior to twelve, scalability was not a strong feature, especially when configuring a rack cluster system where the primary database had multiple instances, while the Data Guard system had only one. However, since version twelve, it has become possible to configure more than one standby system, enhancing scalability.

Scalability with Oracle Data Guard is not straightforward, i.e. the configuration.
We use two different kinds in that case of data guard. You cannot keep looking at the overhead of the projection servers. Oracle Data Guard should know what you are doing. This is the problem. For migrations, it can be a long time.

It was a good experience when we had to replicate it to more than one database and use it for new database creations and all such things. It was very simple, and until now, there are not many problems or gaps in the usability of this solution. It works very well.

Scalability is good because you can cluster your Oracle Data Guard and Oracle RAC. That way you can switch to Oracle Data Guard gives you scalability, and, in comparison with other solutions, it is very stable and scalable because of these features. Most engineers prefer to use Oracle Database. Compared with other solutions, Oracle is a little bit hard to implement and maintain but as a technology, it's very good.
In terms of the number of users on the solution, it varies by project. On one of our latest projects, we had more than 10,000 people directly on the database.
