I would rate the scalability as an eight out of ten. We have approximately 240 clients using the solution.

Oracle technology is advanced, so it shouldn't be a problem to increase capacity by adding configurations or reporting. Almost everything is there.

You should be able to scale it.

Oracle provided us with one or two solutions. When we purchased the products, Oracle gave us scalable solutions. Almost 180 people are using the solution in our organization. The number of users will decrease after the upgrade process.

We have 15 to 20 people using the solution currently. They include managers, super-users, supervisors, and accountants. 

The scalability to add users is fine. Adding functions is limited because each function requires a new customization and implementation.

I have found Oracle E-Business Suite scalable. You can purchase additional licenses and databases.

E-Business Suite is easy to scale. We run a global organization with $35 billion on financials on it. It's pretty solid.

Average daily users are around 600, however, registered users are almost 3,000. Not everybody uses it every day, so about 600 people are logged in every day. They would be different people. Registered authorized users include suppliers as well.

I would rate scalability a 9 out of 10. We don't have any issues with it. 

I think the E-Business Suite is very highly scalable. Right now in my organization, we have around 1000 total users. We have been increasing usage over the years and have plans to increase usage going into the future. We are going to continue to use the on-premises product in the future because it is not easy for us to migrate to any other products. That is primarily because it is a huge implementation here.  

The solution is scalable. We have around 400 users in the company which includes finance people, supply chain staff, and management.

The solution's scalability has many layers. If you want to scale the number of application nodes, you have some steps. Scaling the database nodes takes a lot of time and extra effort.

I have found Oracle E-Business Suite to be scalable.

The scalability feature of the Oracle E-Business Suite is one of the most powerful features. It can be deployed in any field. I have many companies in different sectors using it, such as construction and manufacturing.

The scalability has been good.

Scalability has improved recently because of the many interfaces that Oracle has and many other products that it can integrate with. Even in Identity Access Manager, it has its own products. So in that sense, it's improved a lot on its scalability.

The solution is scalable. 

Oracle E-Business Suite is a really scalable solution.

It is highly scalable. It supports scale-out architecture with both load balancing and high availability. Applications can run on multiple nodes and database can run Active-Active on Oracle RAC (Real Application Clusters). This increases the computational resources. Note that, this is not only for increasing the throughput, but the high availability as well.

As EBS can leverage Oracle Real Application clusters techonology in the database tier, EBS databases can scale-out by adding database nodes to the configuration.. Thus, EBS database workload can be distributed to multiple Oracle database instances and EBS database throughput can be increased almost linearly. 

Similarly, in the application tier, we can have multiple application nodes working together to increase the application tthrougput.. In this context, we can have multiple application nodes, each have their own application servers (Weblogic), their own runtime and batch proccesses. By having this ability, we can increase application performance and make Oracle EBS handle several concurrent user connections.  Batch processing (which is called Concurrent Processing) can also work in the parallel mode (parallel across multiple application nodes) and can also leverage multiple Oracle database instances to provide better and guaranteed throughput.

When needed, more application and database nodes can also be added to the configuratio. We can also declare the role of these nodes according to our needs.. For instance, we can have one application node for serving the requests of internal users and we can have another application node for serving the requests of external users.. Similary, we can have a application node for serving all the web requests, and we can have another application node only for batch processing.

Having a multi-node application tier also provides high availability. That is, if we use a load balancer and configure our EBS well, application contiunity is guaranteed in case of a application node failure.

Moreover, EBS application and database tiers can be replicated to the disaster recovery sites for disaster recovery.. Oracle Data Guard Technology is used for database replication. A replication tool (such as rsync), a filesystem replication feature or a storage replication feature can be used for replicating the application tier to the disaster recovery sites. 

This type of a configuration can provide application continuity in case of a site failure..  Morever, active dataguard can be used for offloading some production reporting to Oracle EBS disaster site database instances..

We are an enterprise, government organization.

The scalability is good. However, how well it scales will depend on who is implementing the scaling. It has to be carried out by a highly-skilled team. Technical support comes in handy here.

We are a large enterprise, and we have been using E-Business Suite for 15 years. And now we're thinking about changing the technology.

We do have some problems sometimes, but we are a small shop, we have 35-40 users, so it's not a huge shop. If you have a 200-something, or 500, users, I think they definitely would have issues. Personally, I haven't encountered many problems.

Once in a while, I'll have some problems. I'll have to restart the system. If it's in the middle of the day, we have all the users get kicked out, and then just a restart. It doesn't happen that often.

The product is very scalable. With the Oracle solution, there are multiple model options from production, to manufacturing, to transport. It's great for warehouse administration and warehouse management. It can scale to meet the needs of large operations.

Oracle E-Business Suite is a very mature solution. I recommend it for any organization, medium to large scale organization, it would be the right choice.

The Oracle ERP software is customizable, you can tailor it to your specific needs and requirements.

The scalability is really good because since APEX is inside the Oracle Database and it's just PL/SQL code with the SQL statements, it scales with the database. Which means it is completely scalable. For example shop.oracle.com which is the Oracle site for buying Oracle stuff is an APEX application. That's up 24/7, it's hit around the world, multi-lingual, you can buy the products in Farsi in German and all those languages.

E-Business Suite is scalable. We don't have to worry about it at my organization, but I know from my prior consulting experience that it's absolutely scalable, from mom-and-pop shops to large multi-national companies.

The cloud version is more elastic than the on-premise.

The solution offers good scalability depending on the setup. Since we have an on-prem product, we have a big data center. In terms of the database replication, I think maybe it was more expensive. We didn't have to deploy an active/active setup on the DB side. 

We have not experienced problems with the scalability of the product. The only problem I have noticed is that sometimes the scales are not available easily in the market. Maybe in the future we will move to Linux or Interface Servers that will provide a lower cost solution. We will have to evaluate this in the future.

Yes, it's scalable. You can technically increase its performance by adding servers, et cetera. So it's highly scalable. I have lots of customers — both big and small companies. Some of them have only two gigabytes of data and others have 32 terabytes. It works well for both types of clients because it can easily be scaled.

It's scaleable. Oracle provides pretty good data plans for E-Business Suite so that you can customize using Java if you want.

It's very easy to scale E-Business Suite as we need more servers. We can add them and take them away as needed. During year-end, we always need more horsepower, so we just add more servers and we can take them away afterwards.

It has scaled for us, though I think we're reaching our limit on it. That's why we're going to Exadata, so I hope that that will help with the scalability.

We have struggled with it. The portions of our company that have implemented it are the smallest divisions, and in each instance when we've brought another one on, we've discovered that it creates a lot of challenges particularly from the volume of part numbers and transactions that are required to make anything happen.

That is actually where we are right now in our implementation, and we have paused it because we are about to go into the division that requires the most complexity and the highest number of transactions, and the scalability is a concern.

Yes, while using Shared Appl_top, you have to use NFS or related technology. But if your admin apps node fails, the second node cannot continue without the primary node. Manual interaction is required.

The solution's very scalable. Oracle, E-Business Suite, the various releases, 12.2.5, 12.1, 11.5, they're being used by organizations, small and large. From very small organizations, to multi-billion dollar organizations, they're very scalable solutions.

I would not see scalability as an issue, but we are not a large company, as such. We have around 2,000-plus employees at the company, but we do run all kinds of applications on it. It's pretty decent. We have not had any issues.

Scalability is not related to our Oracle plan. We are not allowed to expand. We're only allowed to apply our custom solution. If we want to add a page or add a screen, we are allowed to do that within limits. We are not allowed to change the Oracle product itself. We can add something, but without touching any object that Oracle implements.

The scalability of the solution is good. If a company needs to expand the solution, they should be able to do so.

Our company has between 5,000 to 10,000 users if you factor in the dealers and the employees together. Our average employee count is 6,000. That's employees alone. On top of that, we have dealers who are around 3,000. Adding both groups together, you are looking at somewhere between 6,000 and 10,000 users.

So far, it seems like we can do a lot of things with EBS relative to customizations. We don't seem to have any real restriction in that area. But some things like, me as the cash manager, setting up banks tends to be a lot more cumbersome than it should be. There seems to be a lot more involvement with doing those types of basic things than they should be in the real-world sense. It seems to be a little bit more like it was geared towards a developer to set up the bank rather than a professional.

It is scalable. We're not a huge company but we haven’t had any issues with that. I have run it at much larger organizations with no issues there.

This is a scalable solution.

Oracle E-business Suite is easy to scale. But sometimes, the company requirements don't fit with the software requirements.

We believe it is scalable. We certainly have to change our process, and maybe have to acquire more products, but we think Oracle will be able to provide all of our needs.

As I’ve mentioned with the customization, you can do that. So, in that way, it's scalable.

I think E-Business has the capacity to scale pretty well. Oracle is generally good for that aspect of product management.

We see scalability issues when we use the Financial Statement Generator. We're in the process of moving to version 12.4, but we've had a lot of issues with FSG. With our data growing, we've seen performance deteriorating quickly. Some of the reports takes hours to generate, which, to me, is a scalability issue. We're hoping that the newer version resolves the issue, but that's yet to be seen.

There have been many times in which we could have used additional initial processing power, but we were constrained by the licensing structure we were in. That's prevented us from scaling to the extent we wanted.

From my perspective and from my experience with other solutions, I would say that the Oracle E-Business Suite is very scalable. There are approximately 150 users.

We're the city, so there's not much growth, it's more like volume of transactions. We are one of the largest cities, or the largest city, in Virginia, so we have a lot of transactional information that we have to do on a regular basis, and being able to track that in our unique, public-sector way is very important. They have been able to sustain us for this long, and we've been fairly content with it, but we have not taken any advantage of all the automation that could be used in that product.

It's scaled well for us. We use it globally in 22 different countries and it's up 24/7.

We haven't really grown all that much as far as users or transactions that go through. It's been pretty steady, so we haven't needed it to grow by leaps and bounds. As years go on, we're getting more and more transactions in there. When you go and search something, it's been able to keep up with all of that.

We've had good success with scalability. We haven't had much issue with it.

It is pretty scalable. Right now, we're doing iExpense and iAsset, so we're always building upon it.

Oracle EBS is scalable, the flexibility is there to setup an organization with multiple locations.

Our company is a fairly small company; we only have 800 employees. We don’t think in the next five or 10 years that the growth will be phenomenal. That's why our current setup will be sufficient.
