The solution is used for real-time data replication in our environment across RDBMS databases like SQL Server, DB2, Oracle, and SAP HANA. We also use it for Zero Downtime Migration. When an application has to run 24/7, we set up the application to a new server and a new database and keep it active 24/7.

We use GoldenGate for migrations, upgrades and when going from Oracle Spark to Linux, for example, so cross-platform. There are many use cases. We are customers of Oracle and I'm a DBA.

Our primary use case is for consultancy, more specifically for moving customers' data from on-prem into the cloud. We do this in conjunction with our product. We do not have to pay extra for the Oracle Enterprise Manager because our software can manage the GoldenGate software.

Our primary use case is mostly for new environments and migrations, and sometimes updates. I'm a database manager. 

I have used Oracle GoldenGate for a couple of different scenarios. One client wanted to keep their main database secure, so we set up GoldenGate to replicate data in a separate environment for reporting purposes. This allowed users to query the replicated data without directly accessing the main database. Another client needed real-time access to historical data without active data guards, so we implemented GoldenGate to enable querying of archived data from both Oracle and non-Oracle sources. 

The key consideration in use case was determining if the solution performs better with Oracle databases compared to other database options. I played a role in evaluating both options to determine the most sensible choice.

We use it for a project involving data integration from two distinct sources within our factory. One source was an Oracle database, while the other was a MySQL database. Additionally, we incorporated data from a cloud-based Teradata system that Oracle had acquired. Our task involved configuring the data to create a unified data warehouse.

I used Oracle GoldenGate once to integrate two tables in the last twelve months. I also used the solution to integrate two tables from IBM Big Data Analytics to the Oracle Database Services on the cloud.

We're using Oracle GoldenGate primarily to check data consistency, replication, and reporting.

I used Oracle GoldenGate for a pilot project involving the migration of an Oracle database to AWS using GoldenGate. It was one of the options considered for CICD migration. I attempted to build a pilot to demonstrate the proof of concept.

Our customers have different use cases for Oracle GoldenGate.

We use the tool to pull on-prem data. 

We primarily use the solution for the exchange of data between two databases. It's used for replication and some processes.

We use Oracle GoldenGate for homogeneous and heterogeneous data migration.

The areas we use for this product for is centralizing the collection of hospital data. In Saudi Arabia there are five special hospitals and each branch there is a local facility for data entry. Users enter data in the local database in their branches and the data is collected in a centralized database that is also in Saudi Arabia. These tools use criteria to identify cases that are similar in different hospital branches to help in diagnosis and treatment.

I am working on this project to serve as the administrator for the database. Before this, I joined a lot of projects, sometimes part-time, in Cairo and I gained 18 years of experience working on databases in the maritime ports in Arab countries and in hospitals in Arab countries, in Cairo, in Egypt, in Iraq, in parts of Spain and around the Arabian Sea. My primary responsibility is to make centralized data available.

We use GoldenGate for real-time data ingestion and integration.

If our data is in Oracle Database and we want to extract and transform the data to Azure or AWS, we use Oracle GoldenGate.

Oracle GoldenGate can be deployed on-premise and in the cloud.

We have some critical Oracle databases. Most of our marketing business data are in Oracle databases, we wanted to replicate this data to the downstream application. As part of that, we are using Oracle GoldenGate.

It supports data movement for heterogeneous platforms as well as homogeneous platforms. We are using it for both use cases. Some use cases are for secondary sites, and some use cases are for different applications, such as data warehousing. We are using its latest version.

Right now we use GoldenGate adapt tools to integrate the Oracle database with Microsoft DataPoint. We also use GoldenGate for CDB and as a sophisticated feature for auditing on records and to help with records capture by GoldenGate. 

The solution is used for migrating and syncing data between heterogeneous systems.

I used Oracle GoldenGate for some migrations and consultations between different types of businesses.

We are using it for getting data back.

Oracle GoldenGate helps to replicate the changes in one environment on the other. For example, if a team installs new tables, those changes are mirrored on the other side.

My customer uses Oracle GoldenGate mostly for pumping data from one database to another, including data storage format changes. The solution is also used for migrating from one system to another and cross-platform migrations.

The primary use case, generally speaking, is either data migration or data loading from an OLTP system to a data warehouse. It's probably Oracle's primary product for migration to the cloud, to later migrate from on-premises into cloud with zero downtime.

Customers use Oracle GoldenGate because they need near real-time analytics to sync their source system to the ODS database.

We use the product internally to cover one of our data synchronization needs. The use case is likely to be unique in the world.

The solution involves 3000 pharmacies distributed geographically on several islands and continents. Each pharmacy has an ERP for managing pharmacy operations (sales, purchases, logistics, etc.). And we are synchronizing all the data and transactions that are generated in the ERP, with a central database (Exadata).

I am part of a consulting firm and we build database solutions for our customers. Oracle GoldenGate is one of the products that we assist our clients with.

It is primarily used to replicate data from the main database to a backup server.

We use GoldenGate to integrate and consolidate various databases. After this, we send the information to Oracle Cloud Analytics to generate reports. 

The solution in our organization is not used for execution. We use it for a few schedules and to replicate in different databases.

Our primary use for this solution is the replication of data between heterogeneous environments to implement a data hub. We use this for reporting purposes or to publish data to the various systems (acquire and publish technique) using multiple technologies and multiple platforms. They are typically Oracle DBs on Oracle platforms, with some different types of databases, like Teradata, and also sourcing data into Hadoop Big Data.

We use the solution for data recovery and integration with multiple databases.

Our primary use is to transfer data or tables in databases from one server to another.

We implement this solution for our customers, and our most recent deployment was for a client in France. The solution involved one central database and ten replicas that were distributed to the local offices. The central database is automatically updated as the replicas are changed, and similarly, when the central database is modified, each of the local copies is updated accordingly.

The primary usage of the product is to transform data from one database to another, for an application.

We are a reseller, and we implement this solution for our clients. They are generally either government or financial institutions. These clients use other Oracle technologies for tasks such as identity management and business intelligence. This solution is used to replicate the data for purposes such as disaster recovery and high availability.
