Palo Alto has many features for troubleshooting real-time scenarios. The troubleshooting, compared to other firewalls has been optimized in a way that saves a lot of time.

VM-Series allows us to maintain consistent next-generation firewall protection across virtual, private, and public cloud infrastructures using a unified policy model. We can use the provided templates to generate policies based on both global and local rules.

Panorama plays a vital role in allowing us to maintain a consistent security policy model across on-premises and various public cloud environments. Presently, we utilize Panorama exclusively in the cloud, spanning three different geographical locations: East Asia, Eastern U.S., and Western Europe.

Once we were able to configure Panorama's centralized management system we were able to have uninterrupted connections with no security issues.

Using Panorama helped us streamline our security policies in a cloud-based environment, saving us time. With Panorama, we no longer need to log in and manually adjust the template before transferring data, which increased our comfort level.

Using this product has increased our security and has given us much better results in terms of security scans.

Palo Alto embeds machine learning into the core of the firewall to provide online real-time attack prevention, and I would rate that capability an 8 out of 10. It's definitely effective in terms of securing our network against threats that are able to evolve and morph rapidly.

This solution provides a unified platform that natively integrates all of the security capabilities, although we are not using parts of it. For example, we don't use the configuration tools like Panorama.

The product gives us the ability to do malware detection and file inspection.

We need a perimeter firewall to expose anything on the internet. Our inbound and outbound traffic is controlled via Palo Alto. It has multiple features. We have Palo Alto in every location and have a central console where we control all the firewalls.

We can monitor the traffic manually and detect threats. Additionally, we can block different IP addresses and URLs.

With Palo Alto VM-Series, we are capable through a single point of management and visualization both in infrastructure and on premises and in the cloud. This allows us to improve the speed to create new rules, speed up the resolution of problems, having a holistic vision of our firewall infrastructure.

We previously had a hardware solution. With VM-Series, you don't need to purchase the hardware. You can deploy it in the cloud, or they have a PaaS, SaaS, and IaaS version. You connect your network to their cloud and get the traffic filtered. 

It improved all compliance activities. We can close open cases. Compared to other firewalls in these cases, it improved our score on the compliance side.

This product is a complete security system, wherein we provide direct internet access to our hub site.

We have big team which can support Palo Alto on-premise. We have engineers which are familiar with Palo Alto products. Our customers are perfectly suited for our use case. They wanted to get onto AWS or be on the hybrid cloud. They want to keep the technology consistent across the board. Therefore, Palo Alto makes sure that they are a leader in this space. We are able to support them, and customers can take advantage of using these products, both on-premise and cloud.

The VM-Series enables us to extend consistent next-generation protection across different infrastructures with a unified policy model, which makes it very easy for us. It is very important that we have this single pane for monitoring all of the network resources and multiple devices because, today, it's a complex environment where you have to take care of many devices.

This solution makes it very easy to quickly migrate workloads to the cloud.

Since we updated the system, the network has been very stable. Previously, there were issues with traffic throughput. With the improved visibility we now have, the traffic is being properly monitored, which means that we are better able to manage it. These are improvements that we saw very quickly.

It is nice to have a rock solid security platform that we can count on.

App-ID and User-ID have repeatedly shown value in securing business critical systems.

• It provides better protection.
• There is seamless integration.
• It provides complete security posture from end-to-end. This has given us better visibility into what our security aspects are.

When talking about the VM or the virtual firewall, it is mostly about the sessioncapacities that it can handle. In the early version of the firewall, the session or traffic that it could inspect was low. 

In quite a few releases, they have improved a lot. They started with the physical firewall, therefore it is almost virtually the same firewall with the same features, only that it is a virtual one. The main improvements that they have made are surrounding the processing capacity for the virtual machines.

Embedding it into my application development lifecycle prevents data loss and business disruption, allowing the adoption to operate at the speed of my AWS Cloud.

It gives us the ease that we are secure. We have set up the proper things that help make our data safe. This is the biggest benefit.

We use it mostly for the firewall and its ability to work in AWS. That is why we like it.

With Palo Alto, it feels like you're using the Rolls-Royce of firewalls.

We have reduced the number of configuration lines by 90%. We need fewer number of admins right now because of it.

I am an integrator. Palo Alto Networks has improved my position in the cyber security market here in Paraguay. It is easy to sell. Basically, I just need to implement the demo and the program starts itself. So, it has improved our position in this market. It is a program with very strong performance in an excellent position along with quality data sharing. Overall, it has improved our width. 

My clients have a group who will be on the security scheme. They now know the details about their network traffic that they did not know before: Applications that they are using and some application they did not know they were using. It has improved the retail control of their traffic and the users on their network. 

It allows us to see all our traffic to properly secure it and only allow what is needed through the firewall.

We now have a lot more details about what our users are doing on the network. Whereas before, we did not know certain things they were accessing, websites they were going to, and what vulnerabilities were potentially being introduced into our network. Now, we have a very good understanding of what is actually traversing our network, what is coming in, and what is going out.
