In terms of stability, it's quite reliable once it's up and running. I'd rate it a 9 out of 10. However, it's not a perfect 10 due to the need for manual intervention, especially during firmware upgrades and certificate management. This aspect isn't as seamless as with cloud-native firewalls.

This product is very stable. We have had zero problems with stability.
View full review »The product's stability is good. Considering the cloud availability, I can say that the product is 99.99 percent stable. The firewall functions properly on the cloud, and there has been no downtime in the last couple of years. Unless the cloud services from Microsoft Azure go down, the firewall works properly.
I rate the tool’s stability a nine or ten out of ten.

VM-Series is highly stable. One of our clients has been using it for one year, and we've been using it for a year and a half. There were some bugs initially, but in the past two years, it has gotten more stable.

Stability has so far been good. We monitor the resources on the firewall to determine if there will be any spikes on the CPU, RAM utilization, or the load of the firewall. Though, we are yet not putting much load on it.

From time to time, maybe twice a year, they have released content updates which have some issues. When they release content updates, the applications with these updates give us a false positives. I manage older software developers and members, and almost everyone has one or two missteps a year regarding these updates.

Palo Alto Networks VM-Series can be made more stable. I have seen some bugs in the solution. After deployment with an API call, you can use an HA solution in two scenarios, namely, as a load balancer and for API calls. I see that in the Palo Alto Networks VM-Series, there are some delays when it comes to an API call configuration.
