Panaya Test Dynamix Initial Setup

The initial setup is easy. The deployment takes a few hours. It’s a web tool. We can access it through a browser. We just need credentials and a recorder. We don't need anybody to help us deploy the product. We simply follow the steps on the documentation.

Panaya is a SaaS application, but you need to install some components on your computer. Its setup is okay and flexible, and you can structurally test the way you want it, but the setup of Panaya Recorder is a bit complex. It is because there are too many things to do. It takes time to install Panaya Recorder, and if you change something, it doesn't work.

It takes less than a week to prepare a test. If you need to add a new user, it takes a little time to install all the components and features on SAP.

Onboarding was easy. There is a single training for the tester.

Test migration from HPE are done automatically. We can extract our tests from HPE, and they convert it into the Panaya format.

The initial setup was not complex and the product itself is very easy to configure and use. I didn't see any complexity, but you need to know where you want to go and how you want to do that. My advice would be to consider using all the expertise and geo availability - especially for a new product. It's always good to speak to the people who have implemented it before and learn from their experience.
