My company did seek the help of a consultant to take care of the product's installation process.

We implement the solution for customers. Implementation takes one to three people depending on the size of the organization. 

Our team handles any ongoing maintenance which is minimal. 

We did the implementation of Proofpoint Email Protection in-house. It did not require a lot of maintenance. We only have to watch out for the quarantine list that gets emailed to us.

Our in-house team worked with Proofpoint's engineers for the deployment. It was a pretty quick process of setting up the email gateways and starting up the VMs in our hybrid environment. Overall, we only needed one person for the VMs and server setup, and one other person to take care of the security configuration and all the rest.

Proofpoint Email Protection can be deployed within two to three days.

Three of our technicians implemented the solution for our customer. Implementations depend on use case and customer preparedness.

If all prerequisites are prepared by the customer in advance, then implementation is straightforward and takes one or two weeks.

Our implementation took about four months because our customer did not prepare the prerequisites. This caused a delay in the project. Otherwise, this implementation would have been completed in a week to ten days.

We handle ongoing maintenance and our customer also has a direct pipeline to the solution's technical support.

We supply the solution to the end-user.
