The primary solution was to provide a centralized way to access siloed cross-functional reports.
By using Qlik Sense, we were able to combine data from our BI solution, ERP, and other systems, to provide daily reports, plus analytics capabilities with high performance.
As Qlik Sense is an in-memory solution, the performance is fast and provides real-time insights.
Also, with their ETL capability, we were able to perform ETL without a true data warehouse. It saved us a lot of money by being able to postpone the DW project and gave us time to think of other solutions, like data lakes.

We use Qlik Sense in sales. We analyze all the information about sales channels, customers, and SKUs. We work with all the final information, such as P and L, DSO, and other indicators. We have a lot of indicators from finance, such as information about quality. We are a pharmaceutical lab and have information about the number of lots that we import and released to the market.
We have connected Qlik Sense with SAP and Salesforce. We analyze the information of Salesforce and SAP, such as the number of cases that we receive, the number of the marketing campaign, and the amount of money that we are spending on them.
All the department has that analytics on Qlik Sense

My clients use Qlik for in-depth analytic analysis, creating touchboards for a variety of purposes. In our case, we prefer an on-premise solution over the cloud, especially for a banking client, to ensure data security and compliance with industry regulations.
Qlik Sense is our BI tool that provides decision information for the company at all levels and in many departments. We have dashboards, reports, and portals to give information to different kinds of internal or external users.
Right now, we have 150 extractions, 100 transformations, and 60 dashboards for decision-making in finance, inventory, sales, purchasing, supply chain and social media for the company. Qlik Sense is a mission-critical environment - the directors can't make their work happen without it.
View full review »We have a lot of customer types, but many work with ERPs. We use Qlik to connect to the ERP, analyze data within it, and build dashboards. Sales analysis is usually the first project because sales are crucial for every business.
However, we also analyze production, manufacturing, and even public administration data depending on the customer's needs. So, our main areas are manufacturing, finance, and the public sector.
View full review »We are in the affiliate marketing industry. We are using the Qlik Sense Cloud to visualize our marketing-related data. Qlik Sense allows us to visualize the complete funnel from the customer visiting the Google/Bing ads to the product sale.
We are also using Qlik Sense as a platform where we integrate the data from other data sources and make the insights from it which otherwise would have been quite a difficult task.
The Qlik Sense cloud insights advisor helps our business users to get the answers to their data questions so that they do not have to rely on IT/BI resources every time they have some data request.
View full review »Qlik is being used as a Business Intelligence and Data Analytics solution. It currently extracts the data from our database and online sources via a Rest API connector. The data is then transformed in the load script and stored in a .qvd file format.
Once this has been completed, applications use a combination of the .qvd files depending on their functionality to allow reporting on areas of the business. Any area with data can be reported on with graphics tailored to the needs of the business.
View full review »We use this solution for standard reporting for cost and finance accounting. It creates VAT reports, balance sheets reports, and a lot of cost reports. You can split the company into departments and produce individual reports to deduct or extract, for example, German projects, which have to be brought for tax collection for Germany. Since ELIN is an Austrian company, we have to take out the part that has to be allocated to the German tax authorities.
From what I understand, we have data tables in proALPHA and then we have a kind of intermediate bridge, which is the Microsoft environment where this data is copied, and then from that database it is brought into Qlik Sense.
View full review »Using Qlik Sense, we created many CXO & Senior Leaders dashboards. Qlik Sense is really helpful to leaders to get insights on time, and they can see granular level data easily. UI is superb and easy to navigate from one sheet to another.
Our company has a plethora of source systems, and providing a single source of truth via a common platform was a challenge. There was also a need for a self-service analytics platform that allowed businesses to make decisions on time using any device.
We needed to build a Common Reporting Platform that talks to multiple source systems and are:
- Visually intuitive
- Integrate Analytics with Mobile App
- Set up Data Governance and create an enterprise data warehouse
Multiple products were considered, but we chose QlikSense.
My organization offers valuable training on Qlik Sense topics. This helps us to be able to translate business needs into applications that meet the different requirements with efficiency, integrity, and versatility of the tool.
Also, the company I work for aims to help clients realize their full potential by leveraging their data. Through Qlik Sense, it has been possible to develop applications from different sectors that respond to business needs of all kinds with their particular characteristics.
The all-in-one tool has the ability to perform integrations and the use of complex functions in the development of valuable indicators with high efficiency.
View full review »Our organization moved to Qlik Sense Enterprise to provide real-time data to our business users.
Most of the data could only be viewed at month's end, and now users can view their data daily. A lot of the reporting has been created and has replaced mainframe reports that were printed on a daily/weekly/monthly/yearly basis.
We also use Qlik Sense to join our legacy systems data to our most current system so the users do not have multiple reports to look at to get the same data. Qlik Sense also gives them the ability to create their own reports and not wait on IT to get them for them.

We built a reporting platform across the organization. The business needed people with Qlik knowledge to develop the solution. As Qlik is Self-Service oriented, even business people can create their own quick solutions. We are using a proper QDF structure and versioning system, which gives us many benefits such as reusability, backup availability, control versioning, etc. We created best practices for development purposes. Our community is comprised of several hundreds of users, and it works like a charm!

I'm primarily using the solution for analyzing the traffic, sources, electronics, the approval ratio, and payments. It is very similar to QlikView.
View full review »We are right now migrating the QlikView environments (PROD, TEST, DEV) to Qlik Sense.
Each of the environments is a multiple-node environment. That is the first step of the migration. The second will be to migrate all of the reports to the new tool.
In parallel, we are also working on some other important aspects, like designing the schedule for the reports (so that they will be refreshed every day in the correct order), also designing security concepts, etc.
The project is really interesting and gives a lot of great experience.
