Qlik Sense Scalability

The tool scales with infra fairly well. For performant applications on large data volumes, utilizing tooling to hold applications in memory leads to the best results, however, it also requires large infrastructure to support.
View full review »I would rate the scalability a ten out of ten. You can start with one user and easily scale up to even a thousand without limitations.
We mainly have medium and enterprise, though we also have some small clients. But in the Italian market, "small" and "medium" have different meanings than other markets. A typical Italian medium company might only have 10-15 users, while in other markets, this would be considered small.

View full review »Qlik Sense does have a lot of connection APIs that you could do. However, I think Microsoft Enterprise customers can run into challenges with it. We were Microsoft Enterprise, so eventually there was going to be some issues in regards to just how this tool was going to be able to grow with the company. I think it really depends on how many systems you have and how ingrained you are with those systems.
The solution does replace a lot of legacy products, which helps reduce costs, but you really do need somebody that knows what they're doing to get all the integrations done right.

View full review »The solution is easy to scale and about 20 people work with it in my company.
The rollout should be for the full user amount, which is roughly 200% from 20 to 200. But one main report is missing, and it doesn't make sense to roll it out because if they desperately need this one report and if it is not included or not completely correct in this new tool, then we would have understandable complaints from the users.

The scalability options for Qlik Sense are impressive, providing confidence in a truly scalable enterprise solution.
View full review »No, not in the software. Scalability issues have arisen only because we have more projects that could use this power than we have IT resources to support them.

Scaling Qlik Sense is possible by adding more servers, and it is generally smooth for load balancing and disaster recovery. However, making changes to the model can be time-consuming. Overall, it is scalable with effective load management and recovery mechanisms.

It is easy to scale and buy a license, however, the solution is very memory intensive. More users and more data can lead to degraded performance and longer processing times to run reports.

This product deployment works close to a micro-services architecture. So, we scale each service based on requirements and usage.

The solution offers very good scalability. Since we have a lot of data, I never miss data. We have 1,000 leads and 1,000 activities and everything is shown there.
We have 30 or 40 people using the product.
We are using project coordinators. Payments are also using it and most probably the business intelligence team as well.

The solution does scale wonderfully.
From a technology point of view, the system is quite scalable, horizontally and vertically. You can add more nodes into the system, and you can load balance between nodes and you can of course scale in particular by increasing capacity on the nodes.
I would say one of the things that hinders scalability a little bit is the licensing models, which is mainly per user, which at scale can become quite expensive.

In regards to scalability, we'll see if we can have a more concurrent user and speed will be as good as what we're experiencing now. As soon as we put more load connections, we hope that it has the same outcomes. Right now, we have less than 50 users but our plan is to increase by almost four times to 100 in our first year and down the line, it would be 300 plus.
