QuickBase Implementation Team

Director of Estimating at a manufacturing company with 51-200 employees

I am aware of instances where the deployment of QuickBase was completed relatively quickly, within a span of three to four months.

However, it's important to note that individual experiences may vary. In your case, where you worked on the deployment for almost a year, it seems that the implementation process was more complex and faced challenges due to additional ideas and the need for rework.

Director of Information Technology & Corporate Partnerships at a consultancy with 51-200 employees

Most of its implementation was done in-house. At the moment, we are consulting with QuickBase to see how we can align the apps more effectively. That's just because we didn't have that prior knowledge or real understanding of the capabilities. So, we are doing a restructuring of what we're currently doing.

For maintenance, we have a few people who are QuickBase experts, and they are maintaining and consulting the solution at this moment. We have about 10 people for that.

It was a in-house team project, but we are planning to make vendors involved. Within the team there were various engineers and technicians.

We implement in-house. Whoever got an appetite to learn QuickBase get to become a QuickBase app builder. The recorded and live QuickBase webminars are very helpful in learning.

The whole solution was implemented in-house. We have reached out to support a couple of times for some specific issues, but nothing major.

We use Trinity IS if needed. They were able to assist us with any business process that we were unable or too busy to create in Quickbase.

We implemented through an in-house team that had about three months experience. The solution required a short user-guide to basic functions, which were picked up quickly based on their user-roles.

We went with an in-house approach to implement QuickBase. This did cause some issues due to the need to learn the service first but was not overly difficult. This did have a downside as we did not have an expert in-house to create the highly useful databases that a vendor is able to do.

I have not used a vendor team and implemented everything in house. I tried to use a certain team and the made promises they could not fulfill.

We are a vendor team, so I will not rate our expertise. I find QuickBase works great doing it yourself, but there is quite a bit of power available if you bring in an experienced service provider.

I believe this was implemented through an in-house team. The person who manages it currently was self-taught and had not used the product prior. We have recently hired a second person, who is more familiar with the product.

Did it in house for a while, then used a vendor, then back and forth for a bit of both. The vendors have access and tools to take your app to the next level, but for quick and easy fixes we do most of that in house.
