The solution has many valuable features, including a regular signature update. Radware is providing regular signature updates for the DefensePro solution, thus our organization is better equipped to handle any new threat vectors.

The solution's reporting and analytics features are quite useful. It offers valuable insights into ongoing and past attacks, aiding in post-incident analysis and continuous improvement of our cybersecurity strategy. This proactive approach aligns with the need to not only mitigate threats but also to learn from and refine our security posture over time.

The platform for administration and review of attacks that are occurring or have occurred is very dynamic and easy to use and administer.

As a service provider, we use the SecOps dashboard feature. That's where we check the time of attacks to see if an attack is happening at the moment or if it has already happened, and we gather information such as how long the attack took. It is very dynamic and helps us know when an attack occurred, how long it lasted, and what type of attack it was. With this functionality, we have the information we need at hand. We know what is happening in real time and what has happened during the day. We review the dashboard for control issues, and we generate and maintain controls with antivirus attack themes.

For monitoring and reporting metrics, the dashboards are very useful. We generate controls for DDoS attacks monthly, and it makes that very easy. In addition, it helps us understand what happened. It's so easy to see what is happening, both in real time and at the time the reports or alerts are generated.

In our organization, the SecOps dashboards are managed by technical staff only. Other people in the company do not have access to it. But if they were shown to a person who is more administrative or managerial, they would understand them because they are easy to understand. I have shown certain screenshots to senior staff, and they were easily able to comprehend them. With this tool, you can express yourself in front of a person who is not involved in IT.

Its ability to detect attacks in real time is very effective. It features comprehensive automation because the signatures update themselves automatically. Plus, it can detect Zero-day attacks and possible attacks that are not yet known. That has also been of great value to us.

I can only distinguish Radware DefensePro from Netscout AED, which doesn't have such a protection network, behavior analysis, intrusion prevention, and maybe anti-bot modules. This product is more advanced than Netscout AED. However, I haven't the knowledge of how it looks in comparison, for example, to F5 or Fortinet appliances or others, as I didn't do RFI and RFP. The most important thing for me right now in the Radware portfolio, is that Radware went to the cloud and has a flexible model based on virtual machines that can be delivered in our data center model, which could be delivered via the public cloud. That’s the big advantage of Radware, from my perspective.

Its functionality is very good.

The behavioral analysis is of very good quality.

With the secure signature feature, the Radware DefensePro is a big assistance. It is a big help to our customers to improve their productivity and performance. The prompt response from the Radware team is definitely increasing in the new era.

Radware DefensePro is already working well for us, but I want a little bit of improvement, i.e. zero downtime.

All of our traffic has to pass through the appliance, so we can very quickly mitigate the attack. This is a very valuable feature. On top of that, it's not only volumetric attack protection that the solution offers, but also layer 7 attack protection as well.

Another valuable aspect is that DefensePro can work together with Alteon and AppWall as one big platform. We can offer one holistic web application firewall, which covers aspects such as layer 7 protection, volumetric protection, and the web application firewall. The integration potential of the solution is great.

The solution is very user-friendly.

The most valuable feature is the DDoS protection.

The reporting is very good and provides us with a comprehensive description of where attacks are emanating from. The solution mitigates against these attacks in real-time and you can see where their base path is routing from.

If for any reason, DefensePro goes offline, it doesn't prevent your infrastructure from functioning or your customers from reaching you. Obviously, the protection will not be there, but your customers can still reach the services that you are hosting internally. This is a good feature because otherwise, it would be a single point of failure for your entire infrastructure.

A valuable feature is the speed of signature updates. We have received a better response from the team that does technical support.

SSL-based mitigation from DDoS attacks is good from their side. They are capable of preventing SSL-based attacks with certifications and everything loaded onto them.

Cisco partners with Radware and Radware integrates with Firepower very easily.

The Radware DefensePro module, the virtual module running on Firepower, provides more DDoS protection than, for example, Cloudflare.

There is a long list of all arrays of the DDoS attempt cross-mitigation that it does. ISP just basically does IP-based DDoS or TCB DDoS protections. Radware goes beyond that, into DNS DDoS, content-based DDoS, et cetera, so it has many levels.

With Radware, there's a lot more granular control of what DDoS you're looking at in terms of DDoS visibility and protection.

It's an on-prem appliance, however, they also have a cloud-based appliance, meaning that copies always are on demand.

They have a hybrid model approach if a client wants to go that way.

There's a lot of flexibility, and a lot of different deployment models available whereas Cloudflare, for example, is only in the cloud.

The pricing is reasonable. It's not overly expensive.
