This thing has already paid for itself. With the ability to recover from a ransomware attack and restore data within minutes, then be back in production within a couple hours rather than days (or ever!). I’d say the HX500 is pretty invaluable.

ROI is how much (time, money, resources) you will save in case of a ransomware attack because you had this box.

We will be saving on not renewing our support contracts with our older storage, in addition to backing up software and labor to manage the volumes.

With the improvement of our disk IO on our VDI, we may also be able to forgo the purchase of an additional ESXi server for compute and memory. We have freed up resources which were previously seeing high utilization as they were compensating for the disk constraints.

The biggest ROI is the every second backup feature. Depending on your cost of data loss, one ransomware or accidental deletion could pay for a Reduxio appliance.

We did cost analysis comparing the Reduxio Solution to move our data to the Cloud. Keeping our data on-premise was more cost favorable.
