The planning and sizing are similar to other platforms. We can make clusters of machines, just like with other platforms, and migrate to and from them –  do that vMotion-type thing. I haven't directly migrated a machine from one platform to the other, but I think they're all comparable. 

And then, as far as the management interface goes, that is similar to other products as well. You can think of the hypervisor manager as like vSphere and then manage all the hypervisor managers centrally from any workstation. So that's all very similar.

If I'm comparing it to its competitors, I'd say it's on par. It depends on how you define scalability. It's really how deep your wallet is.

So you can scale up easily.

The product is scalable. We can add many nodes to the cluster. There is no limit. We work with small and medium businesses.

We have found the solution to be easily scalable, as long as the correct server capacity is available.

Around 50 people in my company use RHEV.

Regarding RHEV, my company does not have plans to increase the number of users right now, but my company may consider doing so later on.

Red Hat Enterprise Virtualization is a scalable solution. Many users are using Red Hat Enterprise Virtualization in our organization, and we plan to increase the number of users in the future.

We have about 1,000 users on the solution currently.

We use the solution on a daily basis. 

I've never really tested the scalability.

Scalability depends on the applications. Red Hat by itself is not scalable. But you can have third party add-ons like Ceph to make it massively scalable.

The product scaled very well. The only issues that we have ever really had was in relation to the Oracle database that we're running.
