I have seen some performance issues. For example, with the search criteria. When I'm searching with some of the IDs, it will return "FND_" and some finding numbers. Their search criteria is a bit cumbersome because I need to actually find what I need, but it's giving me a lot of other information. I have also experienced lagging when viewing an app configuration page, to see the controls associated with that particular app. I'm not certain whether it's a problem with Archer or with our implementation, but there are definitely some performance issues. 

We have a maintenance team responsible for the required maintenance. They handle new patches and some of the new framework rules and updates. They're also planning on implementing and integrating FedRAMP. 

I would rate the stability around an eight out of ten.

Its stability is medium. It has been really good during the first few years, but after we upgraded in 2018 or 2019, we started experiencing issues. We didn't have the issues with the API calls in the first version that we installed, but after we upgraded in 2018 or 2019, we started having a lot of issues with the API calls, which could not be resolved. They couldn't give us a reason for these issues. The reason has still not been found.

Data feeds had a slowness issue, but it was probably happening because of the memory space issue on the server. This issue is more related to our bank's side because we don't have adequate infrastructure. It is not really an RSA Archer issue. When we initially deployed it, we deployed it with the expected performance or expected number of records or users who will be using the system. Over the years, the number of users or records or the amount of data that we have in the system has increased a lot. Its performance has deteriorated a lot, and in the last few years, it is not able to handle the amount of data that we have. That's why we are seeing intermittent slowness. Sometimes, our users are not able to log in, which has had a big impact.

The solution is very stable but as the data grows and the size of the database grows, you need to add additional servers or sources to manage latency. It creates a lot of logs and the data fills up if it's not properly maintained. It doesn't require daily maintenance but a clean-up is needed at least once a year. If you have really good hardware resources, you don't really need to do that.

The product is less stable than some others, given just it's on an older technology stack. However, it is still at or above industry standards.

I would rate the stability a seven out of ten. It's stable, but most of the time it takes a long time to load, even with good internet. Maybe it's on our end or because it's on-premises.

So it could be faster to load. I would like to see improvement in the stability of the solution.

In terms of stability and performance, Archer is good.

Stability has improved over time, but there's still a lot of latency with some features, like looking up or checking the database.

In terms of performance, I would rate RSA Archer seven out of 10.

After deployment, my company managed the solution. We've had multiple issues with RSA Archer. The database has gone down; the infrastructure on the application side had a couple of issues; sometimes the services went down. After upgrading to the latest version of the solution, they are more stable than the previous one and it is a lot better now.

I'm really satisfied with the performance. We have more than 1000 or 2000 current users on RSA Archer, and we haven't faced many problems.

In terms of stability, if you do it yourself, it can grow big depending on how you want to use it. I've seen and been in companies that want to do all this fancy stuff and all the rules and everything else and it just eats resources you could point at, being 20, 30 servers. It's big.

It's resource-hungry, that's the best way of putting it.

I've never seen any major issues.

The stability and performance of the solution is good.

There are performance issues and bugs here and there, but it hasn't been a real concern. Sometimes it's slow, but mostly it's on our computers and processors. We just need to delete some stuff there and put them back on the server.

The solution is stable, it's a very mature product and if anything goes wrong we can provide the answers or the Archer community has the answers. We are currently having some problems with performance and our clients are complaining. The issues are with calculations and advanced workflows and it's creating a slow down in the system. We probably have around 5,000 users through our client companies.

I think the level of stability and performance is connected to the size of the organization. There can be issues when there is an Excel load in the system, or when there are too many users and too many processes running on the backend. Things can slow down and we've seen glitches and delays. If processing speed could be increased, that would likely solve the issue. 

Early on we faced lots of issues because the communicating with the RSA Archer, the database was not synced properly. Two times when we installed RSA Archer in an environment a few settings and configuration was not correct, this caused the passwords not to match.

The stability could improve.

RSA Archer is very stable.

The current versions are very stable.

Nothing is perfect, I would not give a rating of ten, but in terms of stability, I would rate it an eight out of ten.

This solution is very, very stable.

We have been using the web application, and sometimes, there are issues related to the network availability, etc. Other than that, we have not seen any issues in terms of performance and input and output controls. We never had any reports that were not correct. So, more or less, it is fine.

Performance is always an issue with any coding system. And RSA Archer used to have more performance issues. It was completely on-prem, so there were some slowdowns because of that. However, they've upgraded their backend systems, the codes, supporting database structures, etc. So the speed has picked up lately. They have improved in the last few releases, and I hope they will also continue to do that. 

We did have a few outages, but otherwise, I must say it's fairly reliable. 

For maintenance, there's an admin dashboard. It's a capability that is handed over to our user and admin has super user access. 

This product is 100% stable, without a lot of bugs.

I rate the solution's stability a five out of ten.

As concerns the stability, we have not encountered any bugs, glitches or performance issues. 

We faced performance issues only in the lower version. The reason was that they were using only three servers and one database. We increased the services and RAM, and we had two application servers, three web servers, and one database. Whenever there are any performance issues, we need to check the jobs in the server backend. Sometimes, jobs are running for the last five days and that's why new jobs are not being picked up. In such cases, we have to prioritize the jobs that will go first and that will go second.

I have not experienced any problems with the stability of the product. It works as expected in accordance with the resources and feedback I received from my IT department. It can use a SQL server, a web server, or whatever I need. There is no problem with lag or overuse of resources on the server.  

I give the stability an eight out of ten.

RSA Archer's overall performance is good. It slows down at times whenever a script or some process is running in the backend. Sometimes our users have complained about the speed.

The SaaS version is stable. We have an Archer admin team that meets weekly with a representative from RSA so that any concerns or issues can be resolved as soon as possible. 90% of my work is on Archer and about 60% of the company are users of this product. 

Archer's performance could be improved - older versions can be very slow, and the application crashes from time to time.

Assuming you stay within the limits stated in Archer's documentation, the stability is good. However, if you exceed their limits, you may need to play around with your power distribution to keep everything running smoothly. New patches or updates can also cause hiccups with stability.

Archer has some performance issues when working on a single server. There is also a tendency for bugs to appear with every update.
