Identity and Access Management at a energy/utilities company with 10,001+ employees
After an evaluation process was carried out in my company, we have decided to move to SailPoint. My company chose SailPoint over RSA since we faced a lot of trouble finding new consultants to support us within Europe. RSA's experts are all based in India these days, and my company feels that they are not on the same page as SailPoint, especially when it comes to providing access to cloud applications. Every connector in RSA needs to be built separately, while with SailPoint, we see that a lot of the connectors we want exist within the product, meaning the connectors are a part of the product and just need to be configured.

Typically RSA was the incumbent and most of the time the decision was made to just stay with their products due to the initial investment. I have looked into other products and the one which came closest was Vasco’s IDENTIKEY line. Vasco had a more intuitive workflow upon the initial setup and overall administration. There was a lot less digging around in admin docs and knowledgebase articles to find answers because the layout seemed a bit more straightforward.
