Two of our staff were all that was required. You just need enough to lift and stack the equipment in the data center. We had assistance from a systems engineer at Rubrik.

We don't have anyone dedicated to day-to-day maintenance. I utilize my cloud staff to do the upgrades when required, but once the SLAs are configured, it almost runs itself. My service desk staff does the day-to-day backup checks and restores if needed.

I deployed it myself. It is too easy to involve a third-party, which would be a waste of time and money.

For maintenance, you really don't need more than two persons, and that's for redundancy purposes. You can have a single person manage terabytes of backups.

There were two people from our company and one person from Rubrik involved with the deployment. I was on the technical implementation side, and our CIO was involved in the purchasing, decision-making, and ultimate sign-off on the solution.

The deployment was handled by Rubrik's technical support engineer, who is assigned to you during the sales process. They are somebody local, in fact. They are based in Iowa where we are.

You work with them through the whole sales process and then they help you get the appliance set up and then they're even your contact even after it gets set up. This means that if you ever have questions or you need assistance, they're the person to help and they're very knowledgeable. Our engineer was able to answer any questions we had.

Our reseller was ASG at that time, now it's Sirius. Everything was fine with them. On the Rubrik side, we had an engineer and a sales engineer, and that worked really well.

The first time, we used a consultant from Rubrik, and after that, we did it ourselves. Our experience with them was exceptional. It was really good.

They were two IT systems administrators involved in the initial setup and deployment. I have a general team of cloud engineers who do the storage, cloud, and virtualization.

We did a POC before implementing Rubrik. We had a POC appliance in place, and we tested it for some days before deciding to move to Rubrik. We had a thorough testing on our premises with the test product and then decided on the final purchase. The solution was deployed by a team of two to three people in approximately two weeks.

We used professional services from Rubrik. Our experience with them was good.

Three of us were involved in the initial setup. There was me, a colleague of mine, and a Rubrik engineer. The engineer from Rubrik was very professional, insightful, and answered all of the questions that we had about the product.

The solution's deployment could take a week or so. However, the deployment took a few months for us because of the compatibility issues between Oracle and Rubrik.

For deployment, we had two people from Rubrik. From our side, we had five people for deployment. For its maintenance, there are three people who take care of it all the time. They're backup administrators. They back up and restore the system. We have one engineer who is involved in this project for designing and implementation, which is me.

I did everything by myself.

There were two people directly involved in the implementation, Rubrik's pre-sales engineer and one of my engineers.

A colleague and I deployed it. Whatever we couldn't do, we directly contacted Rubrik for that.

The implementation was directly from the OEM.

We used Rubrik and we also used one of our vendors for the deployment. Rubrik was very knowledgeable and knows what they're doing especially because it's pretty new to them. We had to bring on Rubrik resources, but Rubrik is an excellent company to support.

We used Rubrik for the implementation. They let us know what the requirements were for their product to be successfully installed and implemented. We filled out a worksheet with all the configuration settings. The tech came onsite, and it was done in two to three hours.

It was implemented in-house. 

Its maintenance is minimal. Usually, for patching, we take support, and our staff works with the support. Currently, I have three to four people working for the data protection part. They work with Rubrik, and they also work with Avamar.

The Rubrik, team assisted us with the installation and the updates.

Rubrik's partner (Trend Micro) usually does the heavy work on it. It only takes around three to four hours to set up, depending on the company's infrastructure and security. We had a very good experience during the deployment process.

You only need one person for deployment and maintenance. It's always better to have more than one person, but it depends on the environment. I would say, at least half the staff requirement of what you need with Spectrum.
