Ariba has become outdated. I would say that unless you want to get advanced features, they should go for other tools, etcetera, which are more agile.
Overall, I would rate the solution a five out of ten.
It is one of the best hosting platforms we have around the world right now. I would recommend people to go ahead and use the solution. However, we need to ensure that our in-house team is trained on how to use it. It's not enough to outsource support. We need to ensure that we have the required knowledge to transfer from the implementation partner to our organization.
Overall, I rate the product an eight out of ten.

As with many SAP products, I’d encourage users to recognize that it is a powerful but not intuitive product, and that training is vital.
View full review »Focus on adopting as much as possible from the solution out-of-the-box. Trying to customize every process that you currently have in a cloud-based environment can add unneeded complexity to your business for years to come.
