I have implemented Commvault on AWS. The difference between Commvault on AWS and SAP S4HANA on AWS is the difference and saving in cost. So I deployed the Commvault solution for the deduplication. If my HANA contains 6 TB of my data, with deduplication, it will need only fifty percent size to contain that data since it can compress it. So, I could say my cost is fifty percent right now on both zones for all databases. I like Commvault's features. Also, the billing part is reduced because of AWS.

I have not used another similar solution to SAP S4HANA on AWS.

Microsoft Dynamics is more commonly used in small-scale industries and for limited business integration. While it's not bad, SAP S4HANA provides better licensing and overall integration. So we found SAP S4HANA to be a better fit.

When comparing different hosting vendors it is hard to determine which one is the best.

When comparing SAP S4HANA to other ERPs it is different to tell which one is the best. However, a large percentage of businesses are using SAP versus other solutions, such as Oracle. This can indicate that they are doing very well and customers are satisfied. SAP spends more on R&D making their solution better than other solutions have in revenue.

I previously used SAP ERP.

The company still has SAP on-premises, however, they are considering moving to the cloud. They want to change the whole landscape and move to the next step with their SAP implementation within the Dutch government.

I have not used another solution similar to SAP S4HANA on AWS.

I did not really change to S/4HANA, I was working with it for some time in other versions of the product. Some clients felt like they had invested a lot in the product, so they moved up to the new product. In a sense, I had no choice but to switch to it.
